I will not even attempt to predict trades that go past picks involved in the first round. First round is tough enough, after that it’s a crap shoot.

Also, I have decided against the pick analysis for this mock. If you want any reasoning behind any picks, feel free to ask, but every single one would be stupid when I'm going to do it for every real pick next week.

Trades that did not pan out:
These are just trades that I had at one point in time that were either reworked or removed. Thought I’d throw them here anyway for fun but just know they are not in the mock.

1) The New York Jets send Darrelle Revis to the Tampa Buccaneers for picks 13 (round 1) and 12 (round 2)

2) I had a trade between Philly and NYJ but never got it all the way panned out. NYJ moves up to secure Dee from Detroit and Cleveland but the picks didn’t pan out and Cleveland moved anyway (not that NYJ knew that but I just never got any part of it to work how it should).

3) There were a few other minor deals I had over the course of this but nothing too extreme so I’m doing to just leave it at that.

Trades:
These are the actual trades that are in the mock.

1) The Kansas City Chiefs send the 1st overall pick to the Miami Dolphins for picks 12 (round 1), 43 (round 2), 110 (round 4) and a second rounder in 2014

Miami wants to replace Long so they move up to get the top LT prospect in this draft. KC has no problem trading back and picking up a few extra picks. They can get a different tackle later in the draft now that they have retained Albert.

2) The Oakland Raiders send the 3rd overall pick (2013) and a fifth rounder in 2014 to the Buffalo Bills for picks 8 (round 1), 42 (round 2), 169 (round 6) and a 4th rounder in 2014.

The Bills want their franchise QB. They signed Kevin Kolb but they’re paying him backup money on a backup contract. They want Geno, they haven’t tried to hide it, they are going to want to jump ahead of Philly to assure they get their guy. On the other hand, the Raiders need more picks so they can get more talent so they happily move back.

3) The Cleveland Browns send the 6th overall pick to the San Diego Chargers for picks 11 (round 1) and 47 (round 2).

The Chargers want to make sure they secure the final of the top 3 LTs in this draft. The Browns could select Milliner or possibly Ziggy Ansah but they elect to trade back and pick up a second rounder since they don’t have one from selecting Josh Gordon in the supplemental draft last year.

4) The Arizona Cardinals send the 7th overall pick to the Atlanta Falcons for picks 30 (round 1), 62 (round 2), 126 (round 4) and a 2nd rounder in 2014.

A lot of action in the top 10. The Cardinals aren’t in love with anyone in this situation. Ziggy will be best suited in a 4-3 scheme, all of the OTs are off the board, no safety is worth this pick, it’s too early for either of the top guards and there’s no other pass rushing prospect worthy of this spot. Atlanta has said they want to move up, they have the ammo to pull it off so they come calling and Arizona is happy to move back. It’s a big move but they pick up a nice collection of picks due to that and can now play with their picks some.

5) The New Orleans Saints send the 15th overall pick to the Dallas Cowboys for picks 18 (round 1) and 82 (round 3).

Cowboys really want Vaccaro, the Saints need a pick to make up for the loss of their’s due to Bountygate in the second round, Dallas won’t give up the second, New Orleans settles for a third.

6) The New England Patriots send the 29th overall pick to the Philadelphia Eagles for picks 3 (round 2) and 4 (round 4).

Tell me if you’ve heard this one before, the New England Patriots are trading down…. Lol. Chip Kelly hasn’t hid his love for E.J. Manuel, he fits the system well and is a better option than any QB on the Eagle’s roster right now.

7) The Cleveland Browns send the 15th pick (round 2) to the New England Patriots for Quarterback Ryan Mallett.

I originally had Cleveland selecting Matt Barkley with this pick. I then remembered that the Browns have had some significant interest in Mallett so it looks like they pulled the trigger here. This is just about the perfect value for Mallett, the Browns were going to draft a QB anyway, why not get one who’s sat behind Tom Brady for a bit rather than a rookie?

Damn, I thought Cyprien was going later than that... like into the 30's. Guess his stock has gone way up.
That Pats move into the 2nd and grabbing Okafor is so... Bellichick. Damn, he could very well be that crafty
Keenean Allen to the Ravens... I think I saw that in one of Kiper's drafts, as well as Walter's
Detroit grabbing Tank is pretty sick, could very well have the best DL in the league next year.
I have a feeling you're manipulating the draft just a little to get that Trufant pick to the cards in the 2nd lol
I also saw Walter go with Swearinger to Ravens, and I think I saw Kiper do the same in one of his iirc
I like the Tyrann in the 4th, but I have a feeling some team will jizz all over him and take him in the late 3rd
I would also hope the Ravens would draft a better ILB, maybe by moving up a bit in the 2nd for Kiko, or Terron Armstead, since we need a future LT (or possibly a now LT lol). We've got some picks to trade to do it.

Looks good though, interdasting read as usual. Thanks man.

I would take this draft and have no issues really. Lonnie Pryor in the 6th. Stedman Bailey in the 4th. GREAT value imo and I like them both a lot. Johnathan Hankins in the 3rd. Not one of our biggest needs, but the value would be good there. I honestly don't know much about D.J. Hayden. So I can't really comment a whole lot about him. I'm a Blidi Wreh-Wilson fan though. I would have no issues with Jordan #2. I could live with Scott in the 5th.

I think we'll draft a LB though, even outside of Jordan if we do decide to draft him. Either that or we need to get Daryl Smith back in here damn it.

Good mock overall, but there's no way Houston is going to not draft a safety/corner. And we drafted a kicker last season, no need to draft another one.

Miami would have to give up more than that to jump from #12 to #1 overall lol

Wow...seems like every team gets an ideal pick in the first round of this mock. Very nice.
