I'm going to rank and give a quick analysis of some of the top talents per position in this year's draft.  I am going to make a new thread for each position and will keep old threads listed in each new thread.

Keep in mind, this is purely my opinions.  I am not saying this will be the order, this will be how players turn out or anything along those lines, it's just simply my own personal thoughts.

If you'd like a specific position to be done next, feel free to post, I don't mind jumping around.  If not, I'll go in order (QB, WR, RB, TE, OT, etc...)

Centers:

1) Barret Jones, C/G/T, Alabama – Barret Jones is just fantastic, plain and simple haha. I firmly believe that he can play any, and I do mean any position along the offensive line. He may struggle at LT but other than that, he can be successful at any position on the line. That being said, center will be the best position for him in the NFL. He’s got good size and strength with fairly quick feet and excels in run and pass protection.

2) David Quessenberry, C/G, San Jose State – Quessenberry has really impressed me. He has decent size right now but if he can pack on another 20 lbs or so in the weight room, he’d be ideal for the NFL. He’s got good speed for his size and is great in pass protection. He’s OK in run blocking but could develop his skills there too.

3) Brian Schwenke, C, California – Schwenke is quick and athletic with good feet and is good at executing double teams. He is better at pass blocking than run blocking but he’s still good in the run game.

4) Travis Frederick, C/G, Wisconsin – Frederick isn’t nearly as mobile as NFL teams would like their centers to be. He excels in run blocking but struggles in pass blocking. I wouldn’t exactly be happy if my team were to draft him.

5) Braden Hansen, C/G, BYU – I’m pretty high on Hansen. He’s got great size, quick feet, is mobile and versatile. He’ll probably be better fit to play guard in the NFL but he can play center if needed.

6) Dalton Freeman, C, Clemson – Freeman could be a major sleeper for any team needing a center. He has good size and speed and blocked very well this past season. He’s much better at pass blocking than run blocking but he was still able to do well for Andre Ellington this past year.

7) Khaled Holmes, C, USC – I don’t believe Holmes actually has the talent to play center in the NFL but he doesn’t have the ability to play guard. So, with that said, where does he fit in? I don’t know really but someone will draft him and find a spot for him.

8) Braxston Cave, C, Notre Dame – Cave played well against his lesser competition and struggled against anyone who had NFL level talent on their defensive line. He’s pretty good at run blocking and opening up holes but he struggles in pass protection.

9) Mario Benavides, C, Louisville – Benavides seems to be running around as an unknown. Even I’m ranking him lower than he should be ranked at. He’s got good size and quickness and did well against the top talent he faced this year in UNC’s Sylvester Williams and Florida’s Sharrif Floyd. He blocks for the pass and run well and he should have a massive showing at the combine and could sky rocket up draft boards.
