You have jags and packers taking the same player in the second round.

I like ebron in the first, but after that i don't agree with you.
I Think we Will go with a OT in the second, and i don't see us passing on terrance West in the third.

Quote (BardOfXiix @ Mar 11 2014 04:51pm)
Oakland has released Veldheer and signed OL Rodger Saffold, who is expected to play left guard (but has time starting at tackle as well).  This means that we have a HUGE gap at LT now, and Matthews/Robinson are starting to look really good from here, especially if Watkins is gone.
/e
Also, Jennings is gone and McFadden is back, there is some need for a RB.
Lost a lot of DL as well.  2 DT and 1 DE left.

Quote (BardOfXiix @ Mar 12 2014 04:25pm)
Oakland has like 4 RBs on roster; drafting RB unlikely.

Oakland also signed OT Austin Howard, Jets.  Drafting and OT first is now unlikely.

Most likely pick is QB ATM, IMO.  Not that I think it is the *right* pick, but things are looking that way.  DE is also a possibility (Barr/Clowney).

Biggest needs haves shifted to QB > WR/DT/DE (all 3 about the same IMO)

If the top 4 go that way I would expect to see Clowney taken by Oakland. If one of the top 3 QBs remains, I expect Oakland to take them (unfortunately).

Just an update for your next draft as the Howard signing was after your mock.

Randy, that decision would set the Texans franchise back four or five years. Blake Bortles is a good kid but many people are calling him a big-time bust waiting to happen. I like his competitive nature, pocket awareness and arm strength. He has all of the intangibles and measurables that you expect to see from a franchise quarterback.

Solid draft. Don't think we'll go TE in the 2nd but we'll see.

I usually like your mocks and I'll try not to be mean with this. But your Vikings draft is pretty bad. First AAron Donald isn't a top 10 talent. Second he is a 3 tech type small DT when we already have that in Shariff Flloyd we need a big body DT that can take on blocks, which we just signed Linval Joesph who does exactly that so cross that off. And third the players you picked are kinda all reaches in every round and we need secondary help terribly which you didn't address until a small named 4th rounder. Looking at what you have avaiable with the vikings come their pick It would probably to my liking look more like this

1st: Gilbert CB
2nd: Garoppollo QB
3rd: C Loston S
3rd: Smallwood ILB
4th: Cyril Richardson OG

/e didn't see you put Richardson at 2, He might fall as a lot of people are predicting but staying to what I said swap out Richardson for Dozier who I think is still a very talented G
