I'm going to rank and give a quick analysis of some of the top talents per position in this year's draft. I am going to make a new thread for each position and will keep old threads listed in each new thread.

Keep in mind, this is purely my opinions. I am not saying this will be the order, this will be how players turn out or anything along those lines, it's just simply my own personal thoughts.

If you'd like a specific position to be done next, feel free to post, I don't mind jumping around. If not, I'll go in order (QB, WR, RB, TE, OT, etc...)

Anyway, as always, rate, hate and critique your hearts out.

Running Backs

1) Terrance West, RB, Towson
You might be asking yourself, who? Well I was doing the same thing until Terps showed this kid to me. I hadn’t heard of him until maybe a little over a month or so ago when Terps brought him to my attention. After looking into him and what he has done, he might be the stud and steal of this draft (currently ranking in as a third rounder). He has the body you want to see your primary running back have, he can take a hit, has good speed, doesn’t fumble and is a good pass blocker. He does need to work on his receiving skills some but outside of that, he’s the complete back and my favorite in this draft (and yet again, these are just my personal rankings so my favorite is #1 of course. :) )

2) Ka’Deem Carey, RB, Arizona
Carey is very fast with a very strong and quick cut. He sees the hole and explodes through it. He’s got solid hands and can do pretty much anything you need him to do. His one fault is his size. He’s a bit small and could really help himself if he could add 10-20 pounds without losing any speed.

3) Bishop Sankey, RB, Washington
Sankey is the all around back. Quick, strong, reliable, tough, a good blocker and a good receiver. He’s good in all areas, but not great. He has room to improve but he’s the safest running back pick in this class.

4) Lache Seastrunk, RB, Baylor
Seastrunk has a good combination of size and speed. He can power over guys and then break away from everyone else. He has a problem with dancing around in the backfield though. He has all the physical tools to be a deadly running back in the NFL but he needs to learn to run smart and not try and do it all himself. He has the highest ceiling of any RB in this draft.

5) Carlos Hyde, RB, Ohio State
There’s no ifs ands or buts about what Hyde is. He’s a big, physical, powerful downhill runner who will bulldoze his way through anyone in his way. He’s 6’0’’ and 242lbs and I think that’s selling him a bit short. The guy is massive haha. I don’t know if he’ll be fast enough to be the main back in an NFL offense but he can definitely be a Brandon Jacobs type weapon.

6) Tre Mason, RB, Auburn
Mason has great speed and acceleration and runs the ball very well. He’s good at getting yards after contact and brushing off would be tacklers. He is smaller though which could hurt his chances at landing a role as the main guy in an offense but he can definitely help to make for a solid duo. Put Mason and Hyde together on one team and you’re set at running back for 10 years. :)

7) James White, RB, Wisconsin
White is a very talented and very underrated running back. He’s got solid size (could pack on a little muscle), good speed, hands, receiving ability and is smart in his running. The problem is, he’s been playing behind Melvin Gordon, the best running back in the nation (and on that note I wanted to say Gordon is a FUCKING IDIOT returning to school. He was almost guaranteed the #1 running back selection and he went back to school only to risk injury or have a shit year, I don’t get it). Anyway….., White, playing behind Gordon, still racked up 1,337 (hehe leet) yards this year and 13 touchdowns. If your team needs a running back and doesn’t want to spend an early pick on one, go for this guy right here

8) Marion Grice, RB, Arizona State
Grice has good size, speed, strength and hands. He’s definitely the best receiving back in this draft and he’s fairly well rounded in all aspects of his game. He’s not the best at any one particular thing, but he does everything very well. Reminds me of what people were saying about Stepfan Taylor last year except Grice is a little better than Taylor.

9) Michael Dyer, RB, Louisville
If we’re going off of pure football talent, then Dyer is the number 1 back hands down. But this fucking idiot can not get his shit together. I don’t understand how someone with so much talent and such a bright future can just piss it all away. Dyer was kicked off of Auburn for giving a teammate a gun who was involved in an armed robbery. He went to Arkansas State, where he was dismissed after police pulled him over and he had weed in his car……..oh and a gun. Weed is fine, whatever I get it, but a fucking gun, twice, what an idiot. He has all the tools to be a great NFL running back. He’s short but he’s built and his talent would make up for his height easily.

10) Charles Sims, RB, West Virginia
Sims is an all around back. Very solid in every aspect of the game, not really going to let you down but never going to wow you. He is faster than average but other than that, just a solid, grind out every yard back.

11) De'Anthony Thomas, RB, Oregon
Thomas is VERY fast and quick. Can make a cut on a dime and you won’t catch him. But he’s 5’9’’ (which I’m calling bullshit on, we’ll see what he reads at the combine) and 173lbs with plenty of injury concerns. He’s LaMichael James 2.0, same college, same build, same style of player and he’s going to be the same thing in the NFL. He’s going to be a nice situational weapon and return man but he’ll never be a feature back unless he bulks up which will probably slow him down. And that’s fine, he doesn’t need to bulk up to have a job in the NFL, he’ll be a solid situational guy.

12) Henry Josey, RB, Missouri
Josey is still recovering from absolutely destroying his knee in 2011 (and if you don’t know, I mean he fucked that shit up. Torn ACL, MCL, meniscus, cartilages and patellar tendon). While that is the case, he was an elite runner prior to that. He showed flashes of his old self throughout this year and had a big game in the SEC championship. He’s low to the ground, has a good center of gravity, is fast and fights. He will likely slide on draft day but could be a massive steal for someone willing to take a chance on that knee.

13) Andre Williams, RB, Boston College
Williams is an average running back. Has the big play potential but didn’t show it enough. Potential sleeper here though so keep an eye out for him.

14) Devonta Freeman, RB, Florida State
Freeman is a quick back with power. He’s shorter but has a good build to make up for it. No injury concerns here. He was never given a chance to shine because Florida State runs like 11 running backs lol.

15) LaDarius Perkins, RB, Mississippi State
Perkins had a down year this season but he was great last season. He’s probably just a situational back but he’s got the potential to be the guy, it’s just a matter of getting into the right fit.

16) Jerick McKinnon, RB, Georgia Southern
McKinnon played QB all through college but he’s being smart and moving to RB for the NFL. Too bad more players don’t do this. Anyway, he’s small, 5’9’’ 215lbs is what he’s listed at and that’s awfully generous to me. He is very fast though and is a good runner. Being a QB through college will give him some nice trick play potential but all in all he’ll be a situational, depth and special teams guy.

Yessir. I'm looking through last years (can be found at the bottom of the 2013 Final Mock link above) and there's some major LOL worthy rankings in there. QB they all sucked so that was spot on. Running back I had Ellington at 12 and Stepfan Taylor at 1. WR I think I did pretyt good. Had Patterson at 1 and Keenan Allen at 2.

Then my Mathieu one is just kinda

Loved what I saw out of Mason in the title game. Agreed that his size will be an issue though :/
