Draft order taken from here http://walterfootball.com/nfldraftorder2017.php so don’t bitch.

Round 1

1. Cleveland Browns (1-15) - Myles Garrett, DE/OLB, Texas A&M
Drafting Garrett or trading down should be the only two options for the Browns at this point.

2. San Francisco 49ers (2-14) - Jonathan Allen, DE/DT, Alabama
Niners would be wise to say fuck off to the QB prospects at the top of the draft and take the top talent available. If they make the push for Jimmy G and give up their second rounder then I can’t see this pick being anything other than Garrett or Allen, whichever is available.

3. Chicago Bears (3-13) - Jamal Adams, S, LSU
Here’s something different. The Bears GM has stressed that he will rebuild the secondary this offseason so with Garrett and Allen both off the board and the QB prospects failing to really impress they could turn to whoever they believe the best DB (Adams, Hooker, Humphrey, Lattimore, etc) in the class is.

4. Jacksonville Jaguars (3-13) - Derek Barnett, DE/OLB, Tennessee
With concern over Fowler’s work ethic the Jaguars take the BPA and gill a need. Some will argue Thomas > Barnett and if you do then fine, switch those two players in this mock, nothing changes.

5. Tennessee Titans via Los Angeles (4-12) - Marlon Humphrey, CB, Alabama
Titans are a team that is close but their secondary is garbage. Best corner in the class for them.

6. New York Jets (5-11) - Mitch Trubisky, QB, North Carolina
Jets continue to be linked to Trubisky which means they probably won’t take Trubisky but it makes sense so we’ll see.

7. San Diego Chargers (5-11) - Malik Hooker, S, Ohio State
Proper replacement for Weddle.

8. Carolina Panthers (6-10) - Cam Robinson, OT, Alabama
Doesn’t matter who they have at RB or QB or any offensive position if the tackles allow every pass rusher into the backfield within a quarter second of the ball being snapped.

9. Cincinnati Bengals (6-9-1) - Mike Williams, WR, Clemson
You’re hearing it here right now, don’t be surprised if this pick happens. Boyd has showed some signs of what he can do but a combination of AJ and Mike Williams would get the Bengals probably the best 1-2 in the league, then having Boyd as the third option and Eifert at TE. Also, if Fournette is actually available here, don’t be shocked if he’s the pick as well.

10. Buffalo Bills (7-9) - DeShon Kizer, QB, Notre Dame
Bills will likely let Tyrod go and they’re already saying how they believe Cardale can be the starting QB which means he absolutely cannot so someone to fight with Jones and Manuel will be needed. Bills really fucked themselves with this whole Tyrod situation.

11. New Orleans Saints (7-9) - Reuben Foster, ILB, Alabama
At this point if Foster is available he should be a lock for the Saints.

12. Cleveland Browns via Philadelphia (7-9) - Marshon Lattimore, CB, Ohio State
Haden has seemed to regress and can’t stay healthy. Even if he does return to his former self the Browns will need a #2.

13. Arizona Cardinals (7-8-1) - Sidney Jones, CB, Washington
A proper CB2 to go across from Peterson.

14. Indianapolis Colts (8-8) - Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU
Fournette falling this far is unlikely but not impossible. It’s difficult to gauge how teams value RBs right now when you see a guy like Zeke and how he has done but also a guy like David Johnson.

15. Philadelphia Eagles via Minnesota (8-8) - Quincy Wilson, CB, Florida
Eagles corners fucking blow. That’s all.

16. Baltimore Ravens (8-8) - Solomon Thomas, DE/OLB, Stanford
I don’t really have anything to say. Hi Ravens buzzins.

17. Washington Redskins (8-7-1) - Taco Charlton, DE, Michigan
Need at least 1 DE, maybe 2, here’s a DE.

18. Tennessee Titans (9-7) - Obi Melifonwu, S, Connecticut
As I said earlier the Titans secondary is shit and Melifonwu has been steadily rising up draft boards.

19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (9-7) - Dalvin Cook, RB, Florida State
Like Fournette, Cook might last longer than people think as well because it’s difficult to figure out how teams value RBs right now. If Cook is here though the Buccs won’t hesitate to take Doug Martin’s replacement. Plus it seems like Jameis has some influence to pull FSU guys to Tampa.

20. Denver Broncos (9-7) - O.J. Howard, TE, Alabama
This one writes itself.

21. Detroit Lions (9-7) - Malik McDowell, DT, Michigan
The Lions have needed DT help since losing Suh.

22. Miami Dolphins (10-6) - Zach Cunningham, ILB, Vanderbilt
No one should question this plus Cunningham is the best ILB prospect in the draft imo so great value here.

23. New York Giants (11-5) - David Njoku, TE, Miami
Giants have been linked to Njoku a lot and this is about his value range (maybe a bit early) but they need TE help and if they really like him as much as it is reported, you can’t fault them for getting their guy.

24. Oakland Raiders (12-4) - Jabrill Peppers, LB/S, Michigan
Raiders will draft Peppers as a LB and begin the revamping of their LB corps.

25. Houston Texans (9-7) - Ryan Ramczyk, OT, Wisconsin
QB is a popular pick for the Texans but I believe it’s much more likely that they go after a vet rather than spend an early round pick on one. With Ramczyk they fill what is likely their largest need (outside of QB) and get the BPA while upgrading the protection for whoever is under center next year.

26. Seattle Seahawks (10-5-1) - Caleb Brantley, DT, Florida
Seahawks would be salivating over the thought of getting Ramczyk at 26 but the Texans sniped him away so without another first round talent available at OT they address their second biggest need.

27. Kansas City Chiefs (12-4) - Adoree' Jackson, CB/S, USC
Jackson seems like a solid pick for the Chiefs because if they lose Berry then they have a very talented young player who can slide into safety but if they resign Berry they have the new CB2 that they need.

28. Dallas Cowboys (13-3) - Charles Harris, DE/OLB, Missouri
Gregory likes the marajoowanas just too much. Even if they bring back DWare an early round selection on a pass rusher is likely in the works for the Boys.

29. Green Bay Packers (10-6) - Jalen Tabor, CB, Florida
Whichever one of the very talented corners falls to the Packers will more than likely be the pick. Let’s put things this way, had Tabor been in last year’s draft, he would have been the #3 ranked corner behind Ramsey and Hargreaves. Well, if Tabor right now was in last year’s draft, you know what I mean. Anyway, he’d have been that highly ranked but in this class he’s the 6th CB taken, just showing the talent at corner this class has.

30. Pittsburgh Steelers (11-5) - Dawuane Smoot, DE/OLB, Illinois
James Harrison is a god among men but he’s also as old as you’d expect a god to be….

31. Atlanta Falcons (11-5) - Demarcus Walker, DT, Florida State
That one dude (don’t remember his name, not looking it up) looked solid for ATL in the superbowl but their #1 concern has to be addressing the middle of their DLine.

32. New England Patriots (14-2) - Takkarist McKinley, DE/OLB, UCLA
Last time I had McCaffrey to the Pats because they needed all white skill players and was told they wouldn’t take a RB or WR in the first. After watching the SB I was proven wrong because WatcherOfTheSkies was right, they don’t need to draft an early round white RB because of how James WHITE performed.

Round 2

1. Cleveland Browns (1-15) - Pat Mahomes, QB, Texas Tech
2. San Francisco 49ers (2-14) - Deshaun Watson, QB, Clemson
3. Jacksonville Jaguars (3-13) - Forrest Lamp, OT/G, Western Kentucky
4. Chicago Bears (3-13) - Garett Bolles, OT, Utah
5. Los Angeles Rams (4-12) - Corey Davis, WR, Western Michigan
6. San Diego Chargers (5-11) - Dion Dawkins, OT/G, Temple
7. New York Jets (5-11) - Tre'Davious White, CB, LSU
8. Carolina Panthers (6-10) - Gareon Conley, CB, Ohio State
9. Cincinnati Bengals (6-9-1) - Chris Wormley, DE/DT, Michigan
10. New Orleans Saints (7-9) - Tanoh Kpassagnon, DE/DT, Villanova
11. Philadelphia Eagles (7-9) - Christian McCaffrey, RB, Stanford
12. Buffalo Bills (7-9) - John Ross, WR, Washington
13. Arizona Cardinals (7-8-1) - T.J. Watt, LB, Wisconsin
14. Minnesota Vikings (8-8) - Ethan Pocic, G/C, LSU
15. Baltimore Ravens (8-8) - JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR, USC
16. Indianapolis Colts (8-8) - Jarrad Davis, LB, Florida
17. Washington Redskins (8-7-1) - Marcus Williams, S, Utah
18. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (9-7) - Justin Evans, S, Texas A&M
19. Denver Broncos (9-7) - Antonio Garcia, OT, Troy
20. Cleveland Browns via Tennessee (9-7) - Curtis Samuel, RB/WR, Ohio State
21. Detroit Lions (9-7) - D'Onta Foreman, RB, Texas
22. Miami Dolphins (10-6) - Tim Williams,OLB, Alabama
23. New York Giants (11-5) - Davon Godchaux, DE/DT, LSU
24. Oakland Raiders (12-4) - Alvin Kamara, RB, Tennessee
25. Houston Texans (9-7) - Gerald Everett, TE, South Alabama
26. Seattle Seahawks (10-5-1) - Taylor Moton, OT, Western Michigan
27. Kansas City Chiefs (12-4) - Dan Feeny, G, Indiana
28. Dallas Cowboys (13-3) - Jaleel Johnson, DT, Iowa
29. Green Bay Packers (10-6) - Carroll Phillips, DE/OLB, Illinois
30. Pittsburgh Steelers (11-5) - Marcus Maye, S, Florida
31. Atlanta Falcons (11-5) - Ryan Anderson, LB, Alabama
32. New England Patriots (14-2) - Carlos Watkins, DT, Clemson

2. San Francisco 49ers (2-14) - Zay Jones, WR, East Carolina
3. Chicago Bears (3-13) - Nathan Peterman, QB, Pittsburgh
4. Jacksonville Jaguars (3-13) - Budda Baker, S, Washington
5. Tennessee Titans via Los Angeles (4-12) - Shelton Gibson, WR, West Virginia
6. New York Jets (5-11) - Julie'n Davenport, OT, Bucknell
7. San Diego Chargers (5-11) - Adam Bisnowaty, OT, Pittsburgh
8. Carolina Panthers (6-10) - Garrett Sickles, DE, Penn State
9. Cincinnati Bengals (6-9-1) - Cordrea Tankersley, CB, Clemson
10. Philadelphia Eagles (7-9) - Jourdan Lewis, CB, Michigan
11. Buffalo Bills (7-9) - Rasul Douglas, CB, West Virginia

Thanks for doing this again Randy. A lot of us really do rely on you for draft analysis. I remember you calling CJ Procise a stud when nobody else cared!

Ill read this sometime when I'm not plastered.

We have Gore at 3.5m for 2017, think we go RB? I mean he's 33, we need a new one, but we have so many needs now rofl
Speaking of mock drafts

http://www.nfl.com/draft/2017/mock-drafts

The first guy doesn't even have Cam Robinson in his first 32. Second guy has him 25th, third guy has him 8th, fourth guy 26th.
How is that possible?

Fowler is training and working out with Von Miller this off season. I really hate that he has that kind of work ethic B)

Disagree with you when it comes to the Lions picking a RB in the second round.
