Draft order taken from here http://walterfootball.com/nfldraftorder2017.php so don’t bitch.

Free Agency:
I posted this in the offseason thread. Let’s say all of these FA moves happen.

Tyrod to the Browns
Glennon to the Jets
Romo to Houston
Cutler to Denver
Cousins to San Francisco
Jimmy G stays in New England

AP to Tampa
Lacy stays in GB
Murray to KC
JC to New England

Pryor stays in Cleveland
Alshon goes to Philly
Garcon to Arizona
Djax to Tampa
Bmarsh to the Ravens

Bennett to the Buccs

Whitworth stays in Cinci
Okung back to Seattle
Ricky Wagner goes to Minny
Reiff to Denver

Zeitler to Minny
Lang to somewhere random
Warford stays in Detroit

Calais to Denver
Williams stays in Baltimore
Poe to Philly?

Jarvis Jones to Miami
Dont'a Hightower to Miami
Hodges stays in SF
Kiko to New England
Minter to the Jets

Butler stays with the Pats
Logan Ryan to the Niners
Bouye gets massively overpaid for 1 year of work by a bad team
Gilmore to the Jaguars
Prince to the Cowboys
Claiborne to the Saints
Kirkpatrick to the Packers
Revis to the Cowboys for pennies

Cyprien stays in Jacksonville
Jefferson to Tennessee

So with all of those FA moves happening, let’s see how the first round turns out. Some obvious things to point out:

Cousins to SF means the Skins get the #2 pick now.

Numbering doesn't copy over from google docs, idk why, deal with it.

Round 1

Cleveland Browns (1-15) - Myles Garrett, DE, Texas A&M
Garrett established himself at the combine as the clear cut #1 player in this draft. There wasn’t much argument to that before the draft but any doubters are no quiet. The Browns get their QB through FA and take a massive talent at an area of need here.

Washington Redskins from San Francisco (2-14) - Jonathan Allen, DE/DT, Alabama
With Kirk Cousins in SF most would believe this to be a QB. Not the case. The Skins take the BPA and fill a massive need on their DL. IF this were to happen they’d be much more likely to take Allen (or Garrett if the Browns are dumb) here and use the #17 pick on a QB or get some in FA (or use the #17 pick to get Jimmy G from the Pats).

Chicago Bears (3-13) - Mitchell Trubisky, QB, North Carolina
Unless the Bears overpay for Glennon you have to believe they’re going to put their sights on Trubisky at #3.

Jacksonville Jaguars (3-13) - Soloman Thomas, DE/OLB, Stanford
BPA, fills a need.

Tennessee Titans from Los Angeles Rams (4-12) - Marshon Lattimore, CB, Ohio State
Signing Tony Jefferson fills their need for a safety so they target a corner here. Put whoever you believe to be the #1 corner in this slot and just move guys around yada yada.

New York Jets (5-11) - Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU
They signed their hopeful answer at QB in Glennon so now they get a weapon to take some of the pressure off of Glennon.

Los Angeles Chargers (5-11) - Malik Hooker, S, Ohio State
Weddle has been missed.

Carolina Panthers (6-10) - Ryan Ramczyk, OT, Wisconsin
The Panthers need tackles (yes plural), corners and a RB. You can get a lot of talent and value at corner and RB later in this draft but outside of a couple guys, the OL position is super weak so having their pick of the bunch here at #8 will be ideal for Carolina.

Cincinnati Bengals (6-9-1) - Jamal Adams, S, LSU
Although DE is likely their biggest need, the Bengals need help at safety too and Adams in all likelihood shouldn’t be available here. He’s probably the BPA at this point and fills a need.

Buffalo Bills (7-9) - Deshaun Watson, QB, Clemson
I firmly believe someone is going to super reach for Watson and doesn’t that just seem like a Jets, Bills, Browns, Niners kinda move? Lol (sorry fans of those teams, love ya!).

New Orleans Saints (7-9) - Derek Barnett, DE/OLB, Tennessee
If Barnett falls to the Saints there’s going to be a lot of blown loads in the Saints draft room.

Cleveland Browns from Philadelphia (7-9) - Marlon Humphrey, CB, Alabama
Hopeful franchise QB and WR’s taken care of in FA, Garrett with the #1 and Humphrey here, could be some interesting things happening in Cleveland.

Arizona Cardinals (7-8-1) - DeShone Kizer, QB, Notre Dame
Kizer seems to be a great fit for Bruce Arians’ system and with a year to learn under Carson, Kizer could be ready to go next year.

Philadelphia Eagles from Minnesota (8-8) - Sidney Jones, CB, Washington
By signing Alshon the need for a receiver goes away and they can focus on their horrible corner situation. I could see Cook here too for a RB option but it’s much less likely if they spend on offense in FA that they draft offense in the first.

Indianapolis Colts (8-8) - Reuben Foster, ILB, Alabama
Indy needs a lot of help at a lot of positions. Foster is going to fall a little bit because he was sent home from the combine for being a dick. Even if he apologizes, impresses in private workouts and does everything right, the damage has been done so top 10 is highly unlikely. With that said, a team like the Colts or Saints could grab him just out of the top 10 still and no chance he makes it past Miami, if he does everything right. If he fucks up again, expect a massive free fall.

Baltimore Ravens (8-8) - Mike Williams, WR, Clemson
Talk about massively fixing the WR corps. Signing Brandon Marshall and then drafting a stud like Mike Williams, Joe Flacco is soaking his panties.

Washington Redskins (8-7-1) - Dalvin Cook, RB, Florida State
No QB here either for the Redskins. If they lose out on Cousins and don’t make a move for Jimmy G or another vet then they’re likely going to ride out the year with McCoy and just take their lumps (or draft a QB much later and see how that might go). But that’s OK because they’ll have the Niners first and their first in the QB loaded 2018 draft class. If one of those picks isn’t #1 they’ll have plenty of info to get the QB of their future they want and have a studly young defense and franchise RB.

Tennessee Titans (9-7) - John Ross, WR, Washington
They took care of the secondary with their first pick and through FA and now they address their WR need. This pick could be used to trade for Brandin Cooks but Ross looks like he has all the tools to be better than Cooks and he’ll be on his rookie deal so he’ll be cheaper.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (9-7) - Obi Melifonwu, S, Connecticut
Signing AP and DJax through FA helps take care of their offensive needs for the most part so the Buccs can focus on their defensive needs. Melifonwu was an absolute beast at the combine and his draft stock has skyrocketed. Some have known about him for awhile now and called this months ago, a lot of us are believing the hype now.

Denver Broncos (9-7) - O.J. Howard, TE, Alabama
Free agency allowed the Broncos to take almost a luxury pick here. They already have so many weapons on offense that adding a TE like Howard is almost unfair. Throw in a slinger like Cutler, give him a halfway decent line, that offense could be unstoppable.

Detroit Lions (9-7) - Garrett Bolles, OT, Utah
Losing Reiff will hurt some and there’s really only a few good OTs in this draft so having the #2 fall to them at 21 would be a great value pick for the Lions.

Miami Dolphins (10-6) - Haason Reddick,OLB, Temple
Reddick’s very impressive combine will cause him to be drafted earlier than most thoughts. He’s an athletic freak who can make a lot of plays and the Phins basically need an entire new group of LBs so lucky for them they should have their pick of quite a few at this point.

New York Giants (11-5) - David Njoku, TE, Miami
Some might say why not Cam Robinson? Well the last time the Giants took the “best tackle in the draft” who fell to them it didn’t work out so hot (that’s Ereck Flowers). Flowers hasn’t been horrible but he hasn’t been anywhere near what he was supposed to be. They like Njoku a lot, he’s a great player, should be available, get the guy you want here.

Oakland Raiders (12-4) - Jabrill Peppers, S/LB, Michigan
Peppers to Oakland seems like the best match in this draft imo. He’ll bring versatility and just pure raw talent to their defense. He might be gone by this point after an impressive combine but if he’s available, the Raiders need to snatch him up to fill in a LB spot for them.

Houston Texans (9-7) - Cam Robinson, OT, Alabama
At this point they have Romo and Brock. Hopefully Romo will be able to push Brock to be better but regardless of which is under center, a new RT will be needed with Newton coming off of surgery. Plus, even with what I just said at the Giants pick, Robinson is supposed to be the first tackle off the board so someone is going to take him if he starts to fall.

Seattle Seahawks (10-5-1) - Forrest Lamp, OT/G, Western Kentucky
Seahawks are salty as fuck that they didn’t get Robinson but Lamp is a great consolation prize. Even signing Okung they’ll still need to address the OL and Lamp’s versatility to play tackle and guard will be nice for Seattle to fill in the rest of the line with the best options they can.

Kansas City Chiefs (12-4) - Zach Cunningham, ILB, Vanderbilt
Cunninghamd is crazy talented, one of the BPAs at this point and fills the Chiefs’ biggest need.

Dallas Cowboys (13-3) - Taco Charlton, DE, Michigan
BPA, fills biggest need, what more do you want?

Green Bay Packers (10-6) - Christian McCaffrey, RB, Stanford
Now this would be scary as fuck. Montgomery did great for the Packers but he’s still a WR. McCaffrey on the other hand is just as talented a receiver as damn near any receiver in this draft (he’d probably be the 4th ranked WR if he were listed as one, maybe the #3 to be honest) and he’s a much better runner than anyone on the Packers roster right now (yes even Godgers). They need corner help even if they sign Kirkpatrick in FA, but this draft is just so overly deep at corner that one can be acquired in the second without sacrificing a ton of talent.

Pittsburgh Steelers (11-5) - Charles Harris, DE/OLB, Missouri
Come in, learn from one of the best ever at the position (Harrison) until he retires, then step in and dominate….hopefully.

Atlanta Falcons (11-5) - Caleb Brantley, DT, Florida
BPA, fills biggest need, what more do you want?

New England Patriots (14-2) - Tanoh Kpassagnon, DE/DT, Villanova
This feels like a Belicheck move here. Kpassagnon is a really really talented guy that I like a lot but most won’t throw him into the first even with his good combine. But Billy B ain’t no bitch, he does what he wants and a monster like this on their DLine would be bad for the rest of the league.

I doubt Pryor stays in Cleveland. Do you really think it'll take so long for a second RB to be drafted?

Probably not. Jets, Panthers, Bengals, Eagles, Colts all in play for RBs.

No thanks with a top 10 pick I want a potential all pro player and Barnett will never be that imo

Montgomery is not "still a receiver" for Green Bay. McCaffrey would be redundant.

I saw a mock where the steelers grabbed Jabrill Peppers at 30. We can't let that happen....seriously.

Also, hoping the browns fuck up as usual and take a qb at 1 instead of garrett. Guy deserves a real team..
