How does Garrett's draft hype stack up against Clowney (when he was coming out)?

Yes but for two first round picks they can sign him. Skins can match but they won't. It's going to happen and that'll be an incredible deal for the Skins.



I don't believe the Packers will take a RB in the first but they will get one to be their starter, or rather hopeful starter. Montgomery is a fine stopgap but unless he shows up to camp in completely different shape, he won't hold up as a RB.



I don't see Peppers on the Steelers to be honest. He'd be a great Troy clone but without Lebeau I don't see the Steelers going for that kind of player. Could happen, would be really nice for their defense if it did, but I don't see him being their top target.

Completely different shape how? He's more built like a runningback than McCaffrey is, tbqh.

Let's just put it this way, there's a reason he didn't get fed the ball like a RB would, even in GB's offense. he needs to come out and prove he can be a full time RB and run between the tackles which at this point he hasn't been able to. He's a great receiver out of the backfield and outside of the one game against the Bears, he didn't do much as a runner. I know it was his first time doing it (for the most part as a pro) but has hasn't shown he's a RB yet.

McCaffrey can do everything Montgomery can as a receiver and be a better back than anyone GB has had in awhile.

Not buying that McCaffrey offers anything different than Montgomery. The two are much too similar to utilize both efficiently. Waste of first round pick as far as I'm concerned with a guy like Ty Mont on the roster. Especially if a guy like Takk is still available, which he appears to be in your mock.
