Draft order taken from here http://walterfootball.com/nfldraftorder2017.php so don’t bitch.

Round 1
1. Cleveland Browns (1-15) - Myles Garrett, DE, Texas A&M
The Browns are trying to create a market for this pick by saying they want Fournette here. It’s bullshit but they might find a trade partner. If not take Garrett and move on.

2. San Francisco 49ers (2-14) - Solomon Thomas, DE/OLB, Stanford
Garrett is the clear #1 player in this class, argument over who the #2 is though. Thomas makes more sense for the Niners needs than anyone else who could be taken here so he’s the pick.

3. Chicago Bears (3-13) - Malik Hooker, FS, Ohio State
I started throwing Jamal Adams to the Bears months ago. Still a safety, just a different one lol.

4. Jacksonville Jaguars (3-13) - Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU
I really like O.J Howard to the Jaguars here but Hako would abuse me if I did that.

5. Tennessee Titans via Los Angeles Rams (4-12) - Jonathan Allen, DE, Alabama
WHAAAAAT???? No secondary for the Titans? Well they need a DE, Allen could easily go #2 overall, there’s a shit ton of secondary talent in this draft and they signed Logan Ryan and Johnathan Cyprien already sooooo Allen it is.

6. New York Jets (5-11) - Marshon Lattimore, CB, Ohio State
Jets fans are gonna be thrilled about drafting a corner.

7. Los Angeles Chargers (5-11) - Jamal Adams, SS, LSU
They need a safety. Hey a safety!

8. Carolina Panthers (6-10) - Marlon Humphrey, CB, Alabama
As much as I’d like to give them an OT here there just isn’t one worth the pick.

9. Cincinnati Bengals (6-9-1) - Reuben Foster, ILB, Alabama
Dan said Foster.

10. Buffalo Bills (7-9) - Mike Williams, WR, Clemson
They kept Tyrod so I can’t imagine them pulling the trigger on a QB unless they have a trade lineup for Tyrod. This could be Howard instead of Williams (I could see Howard being the first “receiver” taken in this draft) but Williams and Sammy will compliment each other perfectly.

11. New Orleans Saints (7-9) - Taco Charlton, DE, Michigan
TACO

12. Cleveland Browns via Philadelphia (7-9) - Mitchell Trubisky, QB, North Carolina
It’s very unlikely that no QB is taken until this point but if it happens, the Browns almost have to pull the trigger.

13. Arizona Cardinals (7-8-1) - Jarrad Davis, ILB, Florida
Dansby is old as fuck, need someone to pair with Deone.

14. Philadelphia Eagles via Minnesota (8-8) - Dalvin Cook, RB, Florida State
Stability to the backfield.

15. Indianapolis Colts (8-8) - Cam Robinson, OT, Alabama
Colts should have their pick of any OL in the draft here and they’d be wise to take their favorite.

16. Baltimore Ravens (8-8) - Derek Barnett, DE/OLB, Tennessee
Reasons.

17. Washington Redskins (8-7-1) - Jabrill Peppers, LB/SS, Michigan
Versatility and talent.

18. Tennessee Titans (9-7) - O.J. Howard, TE, Alabama
Delanie Walker is getting up there in age and Howard could easily go in the top 10, maybe top 5 and he is a huge receiving threat which the Titans need.

19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (9-7) - Christian McCaffrey, RB, Stanford
Tampa’s offense is already looking to be pretty scary, McCaffrey could give them an incredible weapon out of the backfield on top of it all.

20. Denver Broncos (9-7) - Haason Reddick, LB, Temple
Reddick is viewed as a pass rusher but the Broncos have already shown they can use LBs in different ways than most think (Von) so yeah. Plus I didn’t know who to put here.

21. Detroit Lions (9-7) - John Ross, WR, Washington
I have no idea what the Lions will do in this situation but Golden Tate and Marvin Jones on the outside with Ross in the slot, that’s a pretty good trio.

22. Miami Dolphins (10-6) - Forrest Lamp, G, Western Kentucky
With no DT or LB really worth taking here, the Phins reach a bit for a guard instead. Yeah, don’t reach for the DT or LB but reach for the Guard, makes sense Randy.

23. New York Giants (11-5) - Garett Bolles, OT, Utah
Most will point to Njoku here but a lot of his hype has been dwindling lately. Many had him right next to Howard but they’re realizing he’s more of a second rounder. Wouldn’t fault the Giants for taking him here but Bolle will lock down their need for a RT and protect Eli for his remaining few years which is the biggest priority.

24. Oakland Raiders (12-4) - Obi Melifonwu, SS/LB, Connecticut
Deone Bucannon’s combine: 6’1’’, 211lbs, 4.49 40, 19 bench, 36.5’’ vert, 125’’ broad and he’s worked out pretty well for the Cardinals at LB. Obi’s combine: 6’4’’, 224lbs, 4.40 40, 17 bench, 44’’ vert, 141’’ broad……..think he might be able to work out well for the Raiders who have a desperate need for a LB?

25. Houston Texans (9-7) - Deshaun Watson, QB, Clemson
They admitted their massive mistake, they like Watson, let’s see if they go 0/2 on QBs in 2 years.

26. Seattle Seahawks (10-5-1) - Ryan Ramczyk, OT, Wisconsin
They signed Luke Joeckel but he’s bad.

27. Kansas City Chiefs (12-4) - Gareon Conley, CB, Ohio State
Need a corner, top corner available, top player available, pick made.

28. Dallas Cowboys (13-3) - Charles Harris, DE, Missouri
Top need, one of the bpas, I’m running out of stuff to say.

29. Green Bay Packers (10-6) - Kevin King, CB, Washington
It’s a good year to need a corner.

30. Pittsburgh Steelers (11-5) - DeShone Kizer, QB, Notre Dame
Might not make Steelers’ fans happy but Kizer has been linked to them a bit and they need someone to replace Ben, especially with how he’s been talking. Jones sucks by the way.

31. Atlanta Falcons (11-5) - T.J. Watt, LB, Wisconsin
Third LB to go with Jones and Campbell since Weatherspoon and Wheeler suck.

32. New Orleans Saints via New England (14-2) - Chris Wormley, DT, Michigan
I’d be salty as fuck if I was New Orleans that Atlanta stole Watt right before them. Anyway, Taco earlier in the first and Wormley now, keep the Michigan duo together.

Round 2
1. Cleveland Browns (1-15) - Corey Davis, WR, Western Michigan
2. San Francisco 49ers (2-14) - Adoree’ Jackson, CB, USC
3. Jacksonville Jaguars (3-13) - David Njoku, TE, Miami
4. Chicago Bears (3-13) - JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR, USC
5. Los Angeles Rams (4-12) - Budda Baker, FS, Washington
6. Los Angeles Chargers (5-11) - Dan Feeney, G, Indiana
7. New York Jets (5-11) - D’Onta Foreman, RB, Texas
8. Carolina Panthers (6-10) - Alvin Kamara, RB, Tennessee
9. Cincinnati Bengals (6-9-1) - Dawuane Smoot, DE, Illinois
10. New Orleans Saints (7-9) - Tre’Davious White, CB, LSU
11. Philadelphia Eagles (7-9) - Fabian Moreau, CB, UCLA
12. Buffalo Bills (7-9) - Chidobe Awuzie, CB, Colorado
13. Arizona Cardinals (7-8-1) - Patrick Mahomes, QB, Texas Tech
14. Indianapolis Colts (8-8) - Zach Cunningham, LB, Vanderbilt
15. Baltimore Ravens (8-8) - Dion Dawkins, OT, Temple
16. Minnesota Vikings (8-8) - David Sharpe, OT, Florida
17. Washington Redskins (8-7-1) - Tanoh Kpassagnon, DE, Villanova
18. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (9-7) - Quincy Wilson, CB, Florida
19. Denver Broncos (9-7) - Montravius Adams, DT, Auburn
20. Cleveland Browns via Tennessee (9-7) - Marcus Williams, FS, Utah
21. Detroit Lions (9-7) - Caleb Brantley, DT, Florida
22. Miami Dolphins (10-6) - Ryan Anderson, LB, Alabama
23. New York Giants (11-5) - Evan Engram, TE, Ole Miss
24. Oakland Raiders (12-4) - Tim Williams, LB, Alabama
25. Houston Texans (9-7) - Jalen Tabor, CB, Florida
26. Seattle Seahawks (10-5-1) - Demarcus Walker, DE/DT, Florida State
27. Kansas City Chiefs (12-4) - Takkarist McKinley, DE/OLB, UCLA
28. Dallas Cowboys (13-3) - Malik McDowell, DT, Michigan State
29. Green Bay Packers (10-6) - Raekwon McMillan, ILB, Ohio State
30. Pittsburgh Steelers (11-5) - Desmond King, CB, Iowa
31. Atlanta Falcons (11-5) - Derek Rivers, DE, Youngstown State
32. Carolina Panthers via New England (14-2) - Antonio Garcia, OT, Troy

2. San Francisco 49ers (2-14) - Curtis Samuel, WR, Ohio State
3. Chicago Bears (3-13) - Taylor Moton, OT, Western Michigan

5. Los Angeles Rams (4-12) - Ethan Pocic, G, LSU
6. New York Jets (5-11) - Carlos Watkins, DT, Clemson
7. Los Angeles Chargers (5-11) - Carroll Phillips, DE/OLB, Illinois
8. New England Patriots via Carolina (6-10) - Alex Anzalone, LB, Florida

Just curious, do you take other mocks into consideration when doing your own? As I read another mock where the patriots are taking Anzalone in the 3rd (their first pick)

Rather have Howard at #4 than Fournette.....

Stupid to draft a RB in the top 5, especially in a draft class as loaded as this one is at the RB position.

I only ever use walterfootball for anything draft related.

I do like kevin king in Green Bay... he crushed the combine and finally would break the TT cornerback mold of taking other-sport athletes or little midgets fucks and trying to make them cover Julio Jones one-on-one.
That said, I want TJ Watt more cos Badgers and cos Watt. Much cheesehead hypes.

Don't be shocked if the 49ers go Jamal Adams or even a CB

PS if we take Kizer with our #1 while we are in all out win now mode, that would signify that we concede the AFC to the patriots. Planning for the future is smart, but with such a risky gamble on a guy like Kizer, idk.

I would love Zay Jones in the 3rd, but I highly doubt he falls that far. I think he's firmly a 2nd round pick, if not a candidate for the end of the first round. Perhaps I'm just overhyping him. Dupre is one of my sleepers. I think the QBs and poor offensive coordinating at LSU masked how talented he really is.

I really would hate an OT in the 2nd round unless he can play LG, considering Alex Lewis should move to RT next season. If Kpassagnon is there in the 2nd (as he is in this mock), I see absolutely no way we pass on him. We need a 5T soooo badly, and he's the most physically-enticing 5T in this draft class.

Barnett is a solid pick in the first. Fits a need, and he has a high floor. Can't complain. I think my #1 preference is OJ Howard at this point, but I doubt he falls that far.

Honestly, I'm doubting the Soloman Thomas / 49ers projection at this point. Everything I've read indicates that it's a poor scheme fit given their current personnel.
