The d2jsp community is made up of several unique user groups. Depending on the group you are associated with, you have different functionality, privileges, and rights available. The following section details the functionality associated with each user group:
A user with a validating user group tag is unable to perform any major function on d2jsp until they validate their account via the approval email sent when their account was initially registered.
A user with a banned user group tag has no access to d2jsp. These users have been banned for violating the forum rules.
A user with a member user group tag is a user who has joined d2jsp as a normal member. These users have rights to post, join a guild, and all rights of a normal member. The privileges and rights are based upon the level of the user's warn.
A user with a Members++ user group tag is a user that acts as a helping hand for the d2jsp Moderation Team. These users have ability to edit their own posts for an extended period of time, can close their own topics, have larger PM boxes, and can close topics in the General Help section and certain sub-forums.
A user with a Trade Assistant user group tag has the primary responsibility of informing Trade Moderators about trade-related issues. These users take care of violations as well as act as Mediators for trades, although mediating is not a requirement of their rank. The Trade Assistants can close topics in the Trading Grounds.
A user with a Trade Moderator user group tag has the power to warn, close, move, delete, and trash posts within the Trade forums.
A user with a Junior Moderator user group tag has the responsibility of assisting the Moderators. These users have the ability to warn, close, move, delete, and trash posts. These users also have the ability to suspend members violating the trading rules. They are able to help with common things in d2jsp or will be able to provide assistance with contacting a user who can assist.
A user with a Moderator user group tag has the same abilities as Junior Moderators, as well as a few additional tools at their disposal. They are an authority for handling disputes and make every effort to remain unbiased in their decision making process. For this reason, it is advised that all members respect the Moderator’s decisions, and not argue with them.
A user with a Senior Moderator user group tag has all the abilities of the lower user group ranks, along with some administrative functionality. They are a high authority for handling disputes and make every effort to remain unbiased in their decision making process. For this reason, it is advised that all members respect the Senior Moderators' decisions, and not argue with them.
A user with a Admin user group tag has the responsibility to manage the website. Please do not contact these users with PMs if a lower group can process the request, as they are busy with administrative tasks. These users have the ultimate authority for handling all matters of the website, and therefore it is strongly advised that all members respect and not argue with their decisions.
