Trades for everyone! You get a trade and you get a trade!
The Oakland Raiders trade the #1 overall pick to the New York Jets for picks 4 (round 1), 68 (round 3) and 2016 first rounder. The Raiders obviously will be looking to move back with a team looking to snatch a QB. The Jets have to do something to fix the mess they’ve made for themselves. They have a few weapons and don’t have to sacrifice too much to jump 4 spots and land what they hope to be their franchise QB.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers trade the #3 overall pick to the Atlanta Falcons for picks 6 (round 1), 73 (round 3), 2015 6th rounder and 2016 third rounder. The Buccs not loving a QB here and knowing they could use more picks than a player here move back a few picks and accumulate a few extra picks to help get some more talent on the team. The Falcons on the other hand, fearing the Raiders and Titans will take Ray and Williams, leaving them with lesser talent, make a move without giving up any extra first or second round picks to grab an elite pass rushing talent.
PS: Yes I know it’s rather ray to see trades happen within a division but let’s just roll with it for this one.
The Tennessee Titans trade the #5 overall pick to the Philadelphia Eagles for picks 29 (round 1), 61 (round 2), 2016 second rounder and Quarterback Nick Foles.Alright well some of you already discussed such a trade in another thread but I was working on this one for a bit. Tennessee, seeing all the premier DL talent off the board makes a huge move, gets themselves a QB and some extra picks. Let’s be real, the Titans aren’t just one player/good pick away from competing with the Colts. But getting a more stable QB and more talent for their defense is going to go along way. Philly on the other hand is not giving up a king’s ransom here to move almost the entire length of the draft order. Foles’ value is arguable for sure but let’s just say he’s an instant starter at QB for a team who needs stability at the position so the value is there. Will this happen, not a chance in hell, but is it fun to think about? Of course of it. Philly moves up so Chip can get his boy.
ps.....none of those trades will happen lol.
Round 11) New York Jets from Oakland (0-9) – Jameis Winston, QB, Florida State
2) Jacksonville Jaguars (1-9) – Randy Gregory, DE/OLB, Nebraska
3) Atlanta Falcons from Tampa Bay (1-8) – Shane Ray, DE/OLB, Missouri
4) Oakland Raiders from New York Jets (2-8) – Leonard Williams, DT/DE, USC
5) Philadelphia Eagles from Tennessee (2-7) – Marcus Mariota, QB, Oregon
6) Tampa Bay Buccaneers from Atlanta (3-6) – Andrus Peat, OT, Stanford
7) Washington Redskins (3-6) – Dante Fowler Jr., DE/OLB, Florida
8) Chicago Bears (3-6) – Landon Collins, S, Alabama
9) St. Louis Rams (3-6) – Ifo Ekpre-Olomu, CB, Oregon
With character concerns swirling around Marcus Peters, Ekpre-Olomu becomes the top CB choice in this draft.
10) New York Giants (3-6) – La'el Collins, OT/G, LSU
A versatile lineman for the Giants. Move Pugh outside, Collins at RT and that’ll bolster that line quite a bit. If not, Collins can play both guard positions as well.
11) Carolina Panthers (3-6-1) – Trae Waynes, CB, Michigan State
12) Houston Texans (4-5) – Brandon Scherff, OT/G, Iowa
13) Minnesota Vikings (4-5) – Shawn Oakman, DE/DT, Baylor
14) San Diego Chargers (5-4) – Danny Shelton, NT, Washington
15) Miami Dolphins (5-4) – Denzel Perryman, LB, Miami
16) Cleveland Browns from Buffalo (5-4) – Cedric Ogbuehi, OT, Texas A&M
17) San Francisco 49ers (5-4) – Amari Cooper, WR, Alabama
18) Pittsburgh Steelers (6-4) – Vic Beasley, DE/OLB, Clemson
19) Baltimore Ravens (6-4) – Jaelen Strong, WR, Arizona State
20) Green Bay Packers (6-3) – Shaq Thompson, ILB, Washington
21) New Orleans Saints (4-5) – P.J. Williams, CB, Florida State
22) Cincinnati Bengals (5-3-1) – Jalen Collins, CB, LSU
23) Cleveland Browns (6-3) – Erik Kendricks, LB, UCLA
24) Seattle Seahawks (5-3) – Shilique Calhoun, DE/OLB, Michigan State
25) Indianapolis Colts (6-3) – Todd Gurley, RB, Georgia
26) Kansas City Chiefs (6-3) – Kevin White, WR, West Virginia
27) Dallas Cowboys (7-3) – Marcus Peters, CB, Washington
Dallas has never been afraid of character concerns and with Peters’ talent and their desperate need for corner help, it’s well worth the risk.
28) Detroit Lions (7-2) – Alex Carter, CB, Stanford
29) Tennessee Titans from Philadelphia (7-2) – Markus Golden, DE/OLB, Missouri
The Titans have their QB now in Foles so they address their major need for proper pieces for their 3-4 defense.
30) New England Patriots (7-2) – DeVante Parker, WR, Louisville
I wanted to move Parker into the first round for sure but had a hard time putting him ahead of some other WRs. But seriously, fuck right off, don’t give Tom Brady this weapon….shit.
31) Denver Broncos (7-2) – Benardrick McKinney, ILB, Mississippi State
32) Arizona Cardinals (8-1) – Leonard Floyd, DE/OLB, Georgia
I really….REALLY want to put Sammie Coates here but I know there’s no way BA and Keim go for a first round WR when they need so much help at OLB.
Round 21) Oakland Raiders (0-9) – Melvin Gordon, RB, Wisconsin
2) Jacksonville Jaguars (1-9) – Devin Funchess, TE, Michigan
3) Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-8) – Eli Hardold, DE/OLB, Virginia
4) New York Jets (2-8) – Ronald Darby, CB, Florida State
5) Tennessee Titans (2-7) – Jalen Mills, S/CB, LSU
6) Washington Redskins (3-6) – Cody Prewitt, S, Ole Miss
7) Chicago Bears (3-6) – Alvin Dupree, DE, Kentucky
8) St. Louis Rams (3-6) – Brett Hundley, QB, UCLA
9) New York Giants (3-6) – Arik Armstead, DE/DT, Oregon
10) Atlanta Falcons (3-6) – Tyrus Thompson, OT, Oklahoma
11) Carolina Panthers (3-6-1) – Corey Robinson, OT, South Carolina
12) Minnesota Vikings (4-5) – Ty Sambrailo, OT, Colorado State
13) Houston Texans (4-5) – Sammie Coates, WR, Auburn
OL, WR, sure looks like they’re giving Mallett a full chance. As of now we don’t know what the Texans have in Mallett. By the end of the season they’ll know but for now, he’s their QB so they have to give him some help.
14) Miami Dolphins (5-4) – Senquez Golson, CB, Ole Miss
15) Buffalo Bills (5-4) – Garrett Grayson, QB, Colorado State
16) San Francisco 49ers (5-4) – Hau'Oli Kikaha, DE/OLB, Washington
17) San Diego Chargers (5-4) – D.J. Humphries, OT/G, Florida
18) Baltimore Ravens (6-4) – Nate Orchard, DE/OLB, Utah
19) Pittsburgh Steelers (6-4) – Jaquiski Tartt, S, Samford
20) Green Bay Packers (6-3) – Eddie Goldman, NT, Florida State
21) New Orleans Saints (4-5) – Eric Striker, LB, Oklahoma
22) Cincinnati Bengals (5-3-1) – Resse Dismukes, C/G, Auburn
23) Cleveland Browns (6-3) – Ty Montgomery, WR, Stanford
24) Seattle Seahawks (5-3) – Nick O'Leary, TE, Florida State
25) Indianapolis Colts (6-3) – Arie Kouandjio, G, Alabama
26) Kansas City Chiefs (6-3) – Ereck Flowers, OT, Miami
27) Dallas Cowboys (7-3) – Malcom Brown, DT, Texas
28) Detroit Lions (7-2) – Mike Davis, RB, South Carolina
29) Tennessee Titans from Philadelphia (7-2) – Michael Bennett, DT, Ohio State
30) New England Patriots (7-2) – Ameer Abdullah, RB, Nebraska
31) Denver Broncos (7-2) – Carl Davis, DE/DT, Iowa
32) Arizona Cardinals (8-1) – Hroniss Grasu, C/G, Oregon
His injury will make him fall some. I don’t know what his time table is at the moment but if he can make it back for the combine then he’ll likely be a first rounder, maybe early second.
Round 31) Oakland Raiders (0-9) – Lorenzo Mauldin, DE/OLB, Louisville
2) Jacksonville Jaguars (1-9) – Kurtis Drummond, S, Michigan State
3) Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-8) – Sean Mannion, QB, Oregon State
4) Oakland Raiders from New York Jets (2-8) – Kevin Johnson, CB, Wake Forest
5) Tennessee Titans (2-7) – Karl Joseph, S, West Virginia

15) San Francisco 49ers (5-4) – Wayne Lyons, CB, Stanford
16) San Diego Chargers (5-4) – Justin Hardy, WR, East Carolina
17) Miami Dolphins (5-4) – Sean Hickey, OT, Syracuse
18) Pittsburgh Steelers (6-4) – Quandre Diggs, CB, Texas
19) Baltimore Ravens (6-4) – Duke Johnson, RB, Miami
20) Green Bay Packers (6-3) – Sam Carter, S, TCU
21) New Orleans Saints (4-5) – John Theus, OT, Georgia
22) Cincinnati Bengals (5-3-1) – Anthony Harris, S, Virginia
23) Cleveland Browns (6-3) – Owamagbe Odighizuwa, DE/OLB, UCLA
24) Seattle Seahawks (5-3) – Tre Jackson, G, Florida State
25) Indianapolis Colts (6-3) – A.J. Johnson, ILB, Tennessee
26) Kansas City Chiefs (6-3) – Josue Matias, G, Florida State
