Draft order taken from here
http://walterfootball.com/nfldraftorder2015.phpI’m going to take a different approach and only put comments after picks that warrant it, rather than each and every one.
Rate, hate and critique.
Round 11. Oakland (0-4) – Marcus Mariota, QB, Oregon
Raider buzzins, if you get the first overall you’re taking Mariota or Winston, just accept it now. Panthers did it in 10/11 taking Clausen in the second and then falling for Cam at #1 when everyone predicted them to go elsewhere. Carr has played well but unless he plays absolutely out of his fucking mind and they still get the first pick, you have to imagine it’s going to be Mariota here.
2. Jacksonville (0-4) – Leonard Williams, DT/DE, USC
3. Tennessee (1-3) – Randy Gregory, DE/OLB, Nebraska
4. Tampa Bay (1-3) – Andrus Peat, OT, Stanford
This pick really wants to be Winston but I say sure up that OL with the top OL talent in this draft, help Glennon out and see what he has. If Lovie keeps his job this sounds realistic, if he’s fired, this is Winston lol.
5. Cleveland - from Buffalo (2-2) – Ty Montgomery, WR, Stanford
I’ve got Montgomery over Cooper right now.
6. Washington (1-3) – Trae Waynes, CB, Michigan State
7. New York Jets (1-3) – Jameis Winston, QB, Florida State
Rex gone. Management gone. Geno gone (or benched lol). New staff means new players. Fresh start for the Jets.
8. Houston (3-1) – Amari Cooper, WR, Alabama
9. Miami (2-2) – Landon Collins, S, Alabama
10. Carolina (2-2) – Cedric Ogbuehi, OT, Texas A&M
11. Chicago (2-2) – P.J. Williams, CB, Florida State
12. New York Giants (2-2) – Dante Fowler, DE, Florida
13. St. Louis (1-2) – Connor Cook, QB, Michigan State
14. Cleveland (1-2) – Shilique Calhoun, DE/OLB, Michigan State
15. Pittsburgh (2-2) – Ronald Darby, CB, Florida State
16. Minnesota (2-2) – Todd Gurley, RB, Georgia
17. Dallas (3-1) – Ifo Ekpre-Olomu, CB, Oregon
18. Kansas City (2-2) – Brandon Scherff, OT, Iowa
19. Atlanta (2-2) – Shawn Oakman, DE, Baylor
20. Detroit (3-1) – Malcom Brown, DT, Texas
If Suh leaves, Fairley is shit, that leaves Mosley and Reid, talent and depth will be needed.
21. Indianapolis (2-2) – Vic Beasley, DE/OLB, Clemson
22. Philadelphia (3-1) – Jalen Collins, CB, LSU
23. New England (2-2) – Jaelen Strong, WR, Arizona State
Finally get Brady a goddamn #1 WR not a bunch of role player slot hunks of shit.
24. New Orleans (1-3) – Marcus Peters, CB, Washington
25. Baltimore (3-1) – T.J. Yeldon, RB, Alabama
Sorry Raven buzzins, it makes too much sense as of now, even with Tolifareriariaizairoaizaio showing up a bit.
26. San Francisco (2-2) – Eric Kendricks, LB, UCLA
27. Arizona (3-0) – La'el Collins, OT/G, LSU
If Cooper continues to struggle the Cardinals could look to get a young OG early plus this fits their BPA draft style, even though a pass rusher is the most needed, Collins is far and away the BPA right now.
28. Cincinnati (3-0) – Hroniss Grasu, C, Oregon
Secondary, interior lineman or WR2 is really the only move for Cinci at the moment. Grasu provides the most talent of the remaining options.
29. Green Bay (2-2) – Denzel Perryman, ILB, Miami
30. San Diego (3-1) – Markus Golden, DE/OLB, Missouri
31. Denver (2-1) – Jalen Mills, S/CB, LSU
Broncos will be desperate for an ILB but with Kendricks and Perryman gone, rather than reach they bolster their FS with some fresh talent while kicking Moore to the curb.
32. Seattle (2-1) – Devin Funchess, TE, Michigan
Round 21. Oakland (0-4) – Melvin Gordon, RB, Wisconsin
2. Jacksonville (0-4) – Lorenzo Maulsin, LB, Louisville
3. Tennessee (1-3) – Alex Carter, CB, Stanford
4. Tampa Bay (1-3) – Brett Hundley, QB, UCLA
In this instance, even though they pass on a QB early, Hundley falling is too good to pass on.
5. Buffalo (2-2) – Sean Mannion, QB, Oregon State
If you want to try and defend Manuel go ahead but the dude isn’t a starting QB. He’s a great athlete but an average football player. Mannion is the best QB in this draft imo.
6. Washington (1-3) – Josue Matias, G, Florida State
7. New York Jets (1-3) – DeVante Parker, WR, Louisville
8. Houston (3-1) – Karl Joseph, S, West Virginia
9. Miami (2-2) – Danny Shelton, DT, Washington
10. Carolina (2-2) – Rashad Greene, WR, Florida State
11. Chicago (2-2) – Leonard Floyd, DE/OLB, Georgia
Floyd should not be available here and will provide a long term solution for the Bears rather than a stop gap like the 40 DE’s the signed this off season.
12. New York Giants (2-2) – Mario Edwards, DE/DT, Florida State
13. St. Louis (1-2) – Tre Jackson, G, Florida State
14. Cleveland (1-2) – Cody Prewitt, S, Ole Miss
15. Pittsburgh (2-2) – Owamagbe Odighizuwa, DE/OLB, UCLA
16. Minnesota (2-2) – Benardrick McKinney, LB, Mississippi State
17. Dallas (3-1) – Michael Bennett, DT, Ohio State
18. Kansas City (2-2) – Kevin White, WR, West Virginia
19. Atlanta (2-2) – Eli Harold, OLB/DE, Virginia
20. Detroit (3-1) – Marcus Peters, CB, Washington
21. Indianapolis (2-2) – Mike Davis, RB, South Carolina
22. Philadelphia (3-1) – Corey Robinson, OT, South Carolina
23. New England (2-2) – A.J. Cann, G, South Carolina
24. New Orleans (1-3) – Shaq Thompson, OLB, Washington
25. Baltimore (3-1) – Stefon Diggs, WR, Maryland
This isn’t even for Terps, he’s one of the BPA’s and fills a need.
26. San Francisco (2-2) – KeiVarae Russell, CB, Notre Dame
27. Arizona (3-0) – Jordan Jenkins, DE/OLB, Georgia
28. Cincinnati (3-0) – Kurtis Drummond S, Michigan State
29. Green Bay (2-2) – Cameron Erving, OT/G, Florida State
30. San Diego (3-1) – Nelson Agholor, WR, USC
31. Denver (2-1) – A.J. Johnson, ILB, Tennessee
32. Seattle (2-1) – Lorenzo Mauldin, DE/OLB, Louisville
