Round 11. Cleveland Browns (2-8) - Joey Bosa, DE/DT, Ohio State
OK so let's just go to a magical world here real quick. The Browns are starting Manziel for the rest of the season, lets just say he plays OK. He shows some signs of maturing and developing and the Browns decide to give him a final shot to prove it. I can see that happening primarily because this QB class is just so incredibly weak. So they take Bosa, keep him in Ohio and at least appease the fans for the time being. If Johnny plays like shit like he most likely will, this will likely be Paxton Lynch.
2. Baltimore Ravens (2-7) - Vernon Hargreaves III, CB, Florida
3. San Diego Chargers (2-7) - Laremy Tunsil, OT, Ole Miss
4. Tennessee Titans (2-7) - Jalen Ramsey, S/CB, Florida State
5. Detroit Lions (2-7) - Paxton Lynch, QB, Memphis
I wanted to change this draft up a bit and I started with Bosa and that now trickles down to the Lions. I'd venture to guess that there is quite a market for Matthew Stafford. Plenty of teams would jump to get him imo (Jets, Niners, Texans, Rams, etc) and if the Lions fall in love with a QB in the draft like Lynch, they could ask a fair price and hopefully do a quick turn around.
6. Dallas Cowboys (2-7) - Jaylon Smith, LB, Notre Dame
Sean Lee gets a concussion laying down in bed every night so it's time to get a little security at the position. Even if he stays healthy, drafting talent over need is always smart.
7. Jacksonville Jaguars (3-6) - Myles Jack, LB, UCLA
8. San Francisco 49ers (3-6) - Jared Goff, QB, California
9. New Orleans Saints (4-6) - Emmanuel Ogbah, DE/OLB, Oklahoma State
10. Oakland Raiders (4-5) - Su'a Cravens, LB/S, USC
I'm sticking with this one from last week. I just love Cravens on the Raiders.
11. Miami Dolphins (4-5) - Tre'Davious White, CB, LSU
12. Kansas City Chiefs (4-5) - Ronnie Stanley, OT, Notre Dame
13. St. Louis Rams (4-5) - Michael Thomas, WR, Ohio State
If things played out this way you better believe that the Rams would likely be cursing the Chiefs for taking a top tier OT one pick before them. Anyway, they need a WR anyway and were targeting DeVante Parker hard last year but Gurley was too good to pass (wise choice).
14. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-5) - Robert Nkemdiche, DE, Ole Miss
15. Chicago Bears (4-5) - DeForest Buckner, DE/DT, Oregon
Now that Cutler is healthy and the Bears have got the ground game going he hasn't looked horrible. They could consider giving it one final shot so they add some much needed help on defense. But, if they are completely done with Cutler, then this pick is easily Cook.
16. Washington Redskins (4-5) - Ezekiel Elliot, RB, Ohio State
This may sound weird as well but no Redskins RB has really taken control of the backfield. There isn't an ILB or Corner available here, Elliot is a top 5 prospect imo and with Cousins looking like he's the QB of the future, a solid and reliable run game is a must.
17. Philadelphia Eagles (4-5) - Leonard Floyd, DE/OLB, Georgia
18. Houston Texans (4-5) - Connor Cook, QB, Michigan State
The Texans really wanted Gurley last year but missed out on him. They'll likely have their eyes on Elliot this year buuuuuut tough titties yet again so they grab Cook, their hopeful QB of the future.
19. Seattle Seahawks (4-5) - Taylor Decker, OT, Ohio State
Having finally been able to sit and watch an entire Seahawks game, O-Line, O-Line, O-LINE!!! The fuck were they thinking giving up their best offensive line piece for a fucking TE who can't block and doesn't fit anything they do?
20. New York Jets (5-4) - Reggie Ragland, ILB, Alabama
21. Indianapolis Colts (4-5) - Vadal Alexander, G/OT, LSU
22. New York Giants (5-5) - Adolphus Washington, DE/DT, Ohio State
23. Buffalo Bills (5-4) - Carl Nassib, DE, Penn State
24. Atlanta Falcons (6-3) - Shilique Calhoun, DE/OLB, Michigan State
I know they just drafted Beastley, but they still need help at rushing the passer seeing as how they have the least amount of sacks in the NFL.
25. Pittsburgh Steelers (6-4) - Andrew Billings, DT/NT, Baylor
26. Green Bay Packers (6-3) - Scooby Wright III, LB, Arizona
27. Arizona Cardinals (7-2) - Kendall Fuller, CB, Virginia Tech
28. Denver Broncos (7-2) - A'Shawn Roinson, DT/NT, Alabama
29. Minnesota Vikings (7-2) - Jack Conklin, OT, Michigan State
30. Cincinnati Bengals (8-1) - Laquon Treadwell, WR, Ole Miss
They have a bunch of FA's at the position and Treadwell is pretty much the perfect compliment to Green. My first thought is a Fitz/Q combo.
31. Carolina Panthers (9-0) - Taylor Decker, OT, Ohio State
32. New England Patriots (9-0) - 2PSI
Round 233. Cleveland Browns (2-8) - Will Fuller, WR, Notre Dame
If the Browns are going to go with Johnny then they have to get him some weapons. They have a decent OL (although idk how happy Thomas is that he was almost traded), a nice surprise in Barnidge and the anchors of their defense in Bosa and Haden so a reliable WR is a must now.
34. San Diego Chargers (2-7) - Kenny Clark, DT/NT, UCLA
They need to address both lines desperately.
35. Tennessee Titans (2-7) - Le'Raven Clark, OT, Texas Tech
36. Detroit Lions (2-7) - Tyler Boyd, WR, Pittsburgh
So in this scenario the Lions dump Stafford and with that, you guessed it, they move Calvin too. If they did both of that they'd stockpile draft picks for the next 2-3 drafts and would be able to quickly rebuild this team that has been going nowhere for a few years now.
37. Dallas Cowboys (2-7) - Devontae Booker, RB, Utah
38. Baltimore Ravens (2-7) - Demarcus Robinson, WR, Florida
39. San Francisco 49ers (3-6) - Corey Coleman, WR, Baylor
Most of the time you give your new QB a weapon.
40. Jacksonville Jaguars (3-6) - Anthony Zettel, DE/DT, Penn State
Hako baby, I know you'll be reading this, don't they have some Fas on the DL?
41. New Orleans Saints (4-6) - Hunter Henry, TE, Arkansas
They miss Graham. Watson has done some work for them but that other guy who we were all trying to draft late as a fantasy sleeper who's name I can't remember right now has been irrelevant, proven by the fact that I legit cannot remember his name lol.
42. Miami Dolphins (4-5) - Jayron Kearse, S, Clemson
43. Kansas City Chiefs (4-5) - Hassan Ridgeway, DT/NT, Texas
44. St. Louis Rams (4-5) - Germain Ifedi, OT/G, Texas A&M
45. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-5) - Mackensie Alexander, CB, Clemson
46. Chicago Bears (4-5) - Cameron Sutton, CB, Tennessee
47. Washington Redskins (4-5) - Yannick Ngakoue, LB, Maryland
48. St. Louis Rams via Philadelphia (4-5) - Jacoby Brissett, QB, N.C. State
49. Houston Texans (4-5) - Darron Lee, LB, Ohio State
50. Seattle Seahawks (4-5) - Joshua Garnett, G, Stanford
At this point I'll be surprised if the Seahawks don't double dip on offensive linemen in the first two rounds.
51. Oakland Raiders (4-5) - Shaq Lawson, DE, Clemson
This is just a super BPA pick. I honestly don't know how I missed on Lawson for this long, just didn't have a good spot for him so the Raiders boost an already very strong defensive line. I like this pick a lot because it will allow them to move Mack back to LB if they choose and use him like the Broncos used Von when they were in a 4-3.
52. New York Jets (5-4) - Christian Hackenberg, QB, Penn State
53. Indianapolis Colts (4-5) - Tony Conner, S/CB, Ole Miss
54. New York Giants (5-5) - Sheldon Day, DE/DT, Notre Dame
55. Buffalo Bills (5-4) - Sebastian Tretola, G, Arkansas
56. Atlanta Falcons (6-3) - Nate Andrews, S, Florida State
57. Pittsburgh Steelers (6-4) - Zack Sanchez, CB, Oklahoma
58. Green Bay Packers (6-3) - Alex Collins, RB, Arkansas
You have to imagine the Packers will consider a RB in this draft. There's a reason they took Johnathan Franklin with Eddie Lacy in 2013. You need 2 backs in today's NFL but they had to have a little concern with Lacy (not saying he's bad or anything, calm down Packer buzzins lol). Anyway, now with Lacy benched and fat (
) and Starks isn't exactly the every down guy, they might consider a RB in the early rounds if one falls like this. You can make this Derrick Henry from Bama if you want but meh, not a fan.
59. Denver Broncos (7-2) - Derrick Henry, RB, Alabama
Take everything I said about the Packers just now, just replace the names with Anderson, Hillman, Moreno, etc etc etc and make the scenario all make sense and boom the Broncos draft a RB lol.
60. Arizona Cardinals (7-2) - Shawn Oakman, DE, Baylor
He's raw still but can sit behind Campbell for a few years until he retires.
61. Minnesota Vikings (7-2) - Tyler Matakevich, ILB, Temple
62. Cincinnati Bengals (8-1) - Jonathan Allen, DE/DT, Alabama
63. Carolina Panthers (9-0) - Chris Jones, DE, Mississippi State
64. New England Patriots (9-0) - Mike Williams, WR, Clemson
