I tried to get DT done but didn't have time so you have to settle for FB and DT tomorrow.
I'm going to rank and give a quick analysis of some of the top talents per position in this year's draft. I am going to make a new thread for each position and will keep old threads listed in each new thread.
Keep in mind, this is purely my opinions. I am not saying this will be the order, this will be how players turn out or anything along those lines, it's just simply my own personal thoughts.
If you'd like a specific position to be done next, feel free to post, I don't mind jumping around. If not, I'll go in order (QB, WR, RB, TE, OT, etc...)
Anyway, as always, rate, hate and critique your hearts out.Fullbacks1) Trey Millard, FB, OklahomaMillard tore his ACL in October but should be good to go for the combine and workouts. He’s got good size, great blocking skills, is a reliable option in the pass game and can pound out those short yards when needed. Can’t ask for anything else in a full back.
2) Jay Prosch, FB, AuburnProsch is probably the best offensive option this year out of the FBs but needs to work on his pass blocking a bit. He is however an outstanding run blocker and can bulldoze his way through the defensive line to create holes.
3) J.C. Copeland, FB, LSUCopeland is a big boy at 6’1’’ 280lbs. I don’t know if that size will translate to anything that any NFL team wants though. Teams that still carry full backs want more than just a big guy usually. Copeland does have some solid speed for his size though so who knows.
4) Derek Watt, FB, WisconsinYes, that’s JJ’s brother. He’s not JJ in any way shape or form but he is a very good player in his own. He’s not that great with the ball in his hands but he is a solid blocker in the run and pass games. He may want to consider making a change to oh idk, OLB, just to see how things work.
5) Trey Burton, FB/WR/TE, FloridaBurton is interesting because he has a good combination of size, speed, running and receiving abilities. I could see a team using him in many ways but I think he’ll be best fit as a #2 running back and #2 tight end. He’ll probably see a lot of play time actually in the end.
