ok good I already had this character made on open, I just need to get an EDC onto it and it will be ready for testing.

I'll start now and then post the results when I find them, game mechanics have never been my strong point ( find actually dueling much more fun than theorycrafting i think ) so I'll leave it to you guys to do most of the analysing on the results.

good luck but do you have a way of accounting for not having crushing blow ( will be quite high damage vs a barb )

yes, i'm testing it vs a bab with xxxk health, cb removes a fraction of their health so its pretty obvious when I got a crushing blow

Looks like grief damage is more closely packed in as you would expect, but EDC seems to be harder hitting. I guess if I followed tudey's guide to the letter and used all that +str stuff it would only favour EDC?

But anyway I'm of to work, I'll leave it to you guys to ponder the results ( if you have any questions about what I used pm me and I'll write to you when I'm back ).

ah u used low str?

well that explains it, its pretty clear the 400 dmg is being added after pvp penalty ( as you have a min of 400 after each hit with crit/DS and 50% DR cancelling out ), so more str would increase EDC's damage and do absoutely nothing to grief's like tudey predicted.

ok should've known you were trolling. One guy does a test and u ignore it for no reason, tonnes of pvp'ers have confirmed the superiority of the build yet you still ignore it and use an outdated guide instead
