Some interesting graphs showing that the main reason Bernie is losing so badly to Biden is not increased voter turnout in urban and suburban places, it is due to rural, working-class whites fleeing Sanders' campaign in droves:

Essentially, "Labor Bernie" in 2016 was doing better than "Woke Bernie" is doing in 2020. It seems as if his ambiguous, unconventional stances on issues like guns, trade or immigration were an important and often overlooked part of his appeal in 2016, and giving them up to appeal to SJWs was a mistake.

The tldr of his 2020 campaign is basically that he traded strength in Michigan, Maine and Minnesota for strength in California and Texas. His strategy could have worked if there had really been a huge surge in latino turnout on his behalf, but that didnt happen, so that he ended up treading water (on balance).

lol ya, if only i had a head count of the number of idiot sjw posters i told moving left was a mistake.

That might be the real story out of this campaign.
Bernie in 2016 was riding a wave of populist nationalism from supporters who had seen free trade destroy their jobs and slow economic growth to a standstill. That was his big issue
Trump championed the same issues and won on them
Come 2020, the economy has recovered, Trump is leading the protectionist economic war, and Bernie instead focused his campaign on healthcare as his big issue. But he drafted in surrogates who used his momentum to make the race about their moralizing social issues, and the media was all too happy to stoke that along. We had a "9 year old transgender child" asking questions at the CNN town hall. A disorienting stream of israel-bashing and muslim-pandering, metoo, trannies, black lives matter protesters saying he's not woke enough, etc etc. Even just yesterday we were getting headlines about how he had an Imam speak at his rally who said ISIS was an Israeli psy-op and slurred Bernie for being a Jew. If Bernie was a black man instead of a white jew, that alone would be Jeremiah Wright x1000 and sink him on its own. And that was just a drop in the bucket of this campaign.

Everything good Bernie had going for him in 2016 was already picked up by Trump, and we got left with the undesirable elements of the far-left. The Antifa and SJWs college burnouts, not the laid off factory worker.

Even a chimpanzee could have predicted that Bernie will lose a couple of percentage points with the white working-class whenever they see him on stage at a rally with AOC, Ilhan Omar or BLM activists by his side.

Yeah I mean I predicted it 4 years ago. I said that if Bernie ran against Trump, he could compete for the working class vote, but after Trump won, I said Bernie couldn't win in 4 years because they belong to Trump now.
If you want to win the workers back, sending out the squad, trans activists and BLM to get your message out is like sending the Nazi choir from Caberet to AIPAC to drum up your Jewish vote in NYC

I only started posting and reading on PaRD regularly in the summer of 2017. ;)
But yeah, it was really easy to predict.

Speaking Wednesday afternoon in his hometown of Burlington, Vt., just one day after he suffered a series of losses in the Democratic presidential primary, Sen. Bernie Sanders vowed to continue his campaign for now, but outlined his ultimate goal — ousting President Trump.

“In my view, he is a racist, a sexist, a homophobe, a xenophobe and a religious bigot,” Sanders said of the president. “He must be defeated, and I will do everything in my power to make it happen

moron is just going through the motions for another payoff. attacking Trump won’t win him the primary and he knows this

He makes the solid argument that while HE HIMSELF is not popular - his ideas are.

Therefore, he must press on.
