As much as I would love Bernie, I think a lot of hype has died down for him since 2016. In 2016 there's virtually no doubt that Bernie would have smashed Trump, but now that he's been in a field of multiple good candidates.... it's harder to say.

Still gonna vote for him in the primary though.

I'm just going by the polls buddy. He's actually in with a pretty good shot.

What has Bernie successfully accomplished in his political career? I would really like to know what the highlights are

The very act of being a consistently reelected independent in congress (both the house and senate) is itself a giant accomplishment.

If you want to know what legislation he's supported that passed, why not just go to his wikipedia page? I'm not going to be more informative than the resources you already have available.

Sanders has a legitimate shot at the Democratic nomination. He's about even with Biden in Vegas and even ahead in some books.

One of Biden's biggest appeals to voters is his perceived electability. If Sanders pulls off Iowa and then New Hampshire, that perception could start to change a little bit and flip many delegates down the line in Sanders' favor.



The media has attacked Sanders relentlessly, and continue to do so, but Sanders likely benefited from being in a two-candidate race last time around. As the de facto anti-Hillary, anti-establishment vote, he picked up a lot of attention and support that he otherwise likely would not have received.

I predict Bernie is going to underperform the polling average, and it will reflect polling bias.
