I still cant wrap my head around the fact that this pandering, gun grabbing, open borders loving tool came THAT close to winning a senate race in Texas... fortunately, him running as the "straw man totem" probably means that he will stand no more chance at winning any state-wide race in Texas in the future.

Beto's most ridiculous ideas, like removing border fencing and confiscating guns, came out after his senate loss.

True, but the writing was already on the wall during his senate campaign. Even back then, he was full steam ahead pandering to the SJW crowd and positioning himself as a champion of the "woke left".
It was quite obvious what his true opinions on these hot button issues were if you listened close enough, even if he didnt spell them out loud (yet). Just like it is super obvious that Warren, Castro and Harris secretly agree with Beto's "hell yes we're gonna take your guns away".

it's so funny how 'perceptive' the right is to 'writing on the wall', how things are 'super obvious', which somehow 'justifies' their insane spins and exaggerations of 'left wing' policies, and who allegedly holds them - but when it comes to trump's racism and bigotry for example, they are the complete opposite - not only concerning the almost deafening dog whistles (both sides, muslim ban, criminals and rapists, shithole countries, why can't we have more immigrants from norway...), but even to outright racist statements, positions, and actions (rejecting a judge because of his mexican heritage, birtherism, discrimination against black renters...).

fascinating insight into the anatomy of a cult really...

Beto really wasnt more subtle with his "woke left" opinions than Trump is with his right-wing populism, even before he (Beto) started literally spelling them out in public.

When it comes to Trump's "dog whistles": most of his supporters dont deny that his between-the-lines messaging exists, they just dont think that his supposed "dog whistles" are as deeply racist and fascist as you (and the liberal media in general) make them out to be.
Is Trump a good guy in any sense of the word? Nope. Is he the 2nd coming of Hitler? Also nope.

he's not just 'not a good guy in any sense of the word' - he is a racist, plain and simple. the fact that you have to sugar coat that by acting like everything short of a second hitler is somehow justifiable, is despicable and really says a lot about you.
to any halfway decent person, you wouldn't have to be 'the second coming of hitler' for that to be outright disqualifying.

can you admit it? can you acknowledge his racism?

Going by the examples that you mentioned, "rejecting a judge because of his mexican heritage, birtherism, discrimination against black renters.." were racist actions, while "both sides, muslim ban, criminals and rapists, shithole countries, why can't we have more immigrants from norway..." imho were statements with at least some merit to them and that can quite easily be explained without racism.

So yes, if it makes you happy to hear it and allows you to find sleep at night, yes, Trump has acted in racist fashion on multiple occasions. However, I really wouldnt consider racism to be a, let alone the, defining character trait of Trump.

and what are people who 'act in racist fashion' multiple times called?
holy shit, you just can't say it, right? it's impossible for you to outright call him a racist, because that would make you someone who supports and defends a racist on a regular basis.

you rather pretend that you're just saying it to 'make me happy'.
you rather describe him as someone who 'isn't perfect in every sense of the word' - as if that was the only alternative.
you insist that he's so many other things, and that makes his racism somehow... what? less bad? justifiable? acceptable? not character defining? unimportant?

how would you define him then? oh, i know: "not so austere cult leader, 73, golf aficionado and media critic, the chosen one"
