Yeah that's part of the point. Time spent trying to follow a constantly changing meta is worse than just getting better at the game.

also personal opinion... even in challenger.. there is a reason why a lot of them are 1 tricks.. and stick to that same champion even when nerfed, buffed
or anything happens to the meta or their champion.. it's because if you have superior knowledge of a given champion and you fill a niche with that
champion better than you possibly could with any other.. master it.. hone it.. if your the best cho gath mid player in the world.. you can be challenger
