I think Froggy is right. Kids who don't play this game professionally shouldn't even be using the word meta as their feeble brains cannot even comprehend what it is and how to identify/apply it.

ya unless ur top 20 players in the world there is no meta

also if youre q'd against players of the exact same skill level, it doesnt matter, theres no meta, ur low elo

Back when league was good and the meta wasn't so shit you would handicap your team maybe like 10% less chance of winning by picking a non meta champ. You could play shit like fizz jungle and solo carry. Now you handicap your team by 35% less chance of winning (more if u don't snowball). Doesn't matter bronze-diamond 5. Usually id put bronze-diamond 2 but now u can even drop games in diamond 5 with removal of solo carry. Ghostcrawler ruins wow, now ruins league.

nah. Quit after they buffed tanks in like season 5. Came back to play a little in s7, got to masters spamming ap kog then got bored with these runes and changes.

i like the new runes tbh. it'd be nice if they could have kept old runes and implemented this new rune system as masteries instead of the old masteries.

You can hit challenger with non meta champs, you still decrease your chance of winning a game by a lot when u don't pick meta champs. Also took at the top 50 people, all of their top picks are meta champs. If you actually want to prove that you are the best u need to pick meta champs to hit rank one.

or actually maybe kids are just trash nowadays. I hit top 20 with talon and he sure as hell wasn't meta but then again I am an exception for being a god at the game back then. Don't see a single assassin player in top 50, maybe assassins suck dick now.
