To imply that bi-weekly changes to a game only effects 20 people out of millions is silly. I get what you mean, you can 1 trick anything and climb if you're good enough. So yes the simple answer is get better. It's ridiculous to say that champions being strengthened and weakened through changes of itemization and direct champion abilities doesn't effect players.


champion winrates alone reflect that changes to a game do effect players from bronze to challenger

The overall point is just that it doesn't really matter what you play
As long as it's not something retarded

If you're not playing competitively then you don't have a meta

you obviously never got banned for playing something other than marksman when you were ASSIGNED adc
or for playing anything but TRADITIONAL support when being ASSIGNED support
there's a meta, the game is twisted as hell
still, whether it's the best way to play the game is debatable
