I explained once in this thread I think, that symptom is your gut bacteria adjusting to your diet. Bacteria have different strains in your intestines and when you starve some of their favorite food (sugar, etc) they can "revolt" and shift the environment within your gut. This is temporary and should last about a half a week.
If you're not fat, then moderate or mild keto might work great, just cut down on carbs and stick to fats and grilled vegetables. There is mounting evidence that it cuts risks of cancer, heart disease, and metabolic diseases, especially diabetes type II.
