Sounds like juolevi lost the job. Green rarely calls his own players out to the media, he didn't even try to go in details for virtanen and kept it private.

Juolevi had many chances to step up and make the team.

Of course he has had to deal with injuries but the ball has always been in his court. This was his job to lose and it looks like he has done just that.

I would like to see some young forwards continue to surprise and crack the team.

With our cap nightmare we could sure use some serviceable players on 3 year ELC'S

Rathbone w/ the partial break out of the box.

Expected a blow out loss considering the roster comparison, but kraken had a tough time. I guess they're still trying to mesh with all the new guys.

Rathbone pretty much has the job, and even hunt is playing well. Looks like they'll be sharing 6/7 spots. Juolevi is done, he had his chances and opportunities to make the team. Like Green said, he didn't do himself any favours coming into camp in poor shape and not standing out at all like Rathbone or hunt.

Klim looks like a tough decision, he's proving that he's already at a pro level raw skill wise, constantly deking out kraken players. They need to decide if he should develop in the AHL and work his way up to the top 6 or go play in junior league and have plenty of top 6 minutes there.

I still can't understand how Hamonic is a no show. Not sure if rumors are true,if he's not taking the vaccine or if he's just waiting to be fully vaccinated before joining the team. Canucks RHD is already a joke, with him being uncertain, or expected to play just about 40-50 cuz not vaccinated, it's not good for Hughes. He will need to develop chemistry with ham and Schenn. Might as well have him develop chemistry with Schenn. It wouldve been awesome if they could terminate hamonic's contract and use that 3m to sign both Petey and Hughes to term.

I hope Lockwood makes the team, he definitely showed up prepared and looks like he will continue making a huge difference in the bottom 6 like last season. I love how he plays the mind games and uses it to his advantage, he said he caught Schenn by surprise when he leveled him flat to the ice.
