How does 46 dr stack up against a Phoenix? I could only image the insane damage taken while running a 4500 life build and no max dr.

Wouldn’t a 47 dr 3x ber diadem work better?

Probably need to get first smite in most situations. I went back to berber and swapped a couple 19/5s for some lr scs. There's lots of room for outplay in vtpk. It's whatever you're most comfortable/confident with in my experience

That makes sense, foh is just so slow at 30 fcr and trangs can be out smited by a slower fcr Smiter. I only got 2500 life atm but I swear I’m getting 2 shotted with my diadem on.

Most of the people I'm playing against run 50fcr. They're quick with foh and holyfreeze. If you mess up you're dead. I've tried 30fcr and it's strong but you're slow. The trade off of bigger smite or more speed boils down to preference. I feel like if you're skilled enough then go for speed. If you're learning then go for power then at least if you mess up you can still smite hard lol
