raynor it has been a while..... O_O
but here is my question: I think i'm suffering from a pinched nerve, should that hinder my workouts? if i started working out high intensity/heavy could i potentially hurt myself more?
the pinched nerve is running through my hand to my shoulder. i thought i hurt my shoulder this whole time so i quit bulking
anyways thanks bro and gj @ that trusted tag
Hey there.
Yes a pinched nerve can cause you to not only have much worse workouts, but working through it can potentially cause you some more pain and make the area take longer to heal.
I would recommend that you stay away from using it for a while until the problem can resolve itself.
You can also do the normal treatment which is to REST, ICE (20 minutes on 40 minutes off), ELEVATE (this comes naturally being that it's your shoulder).
You can also take anti-inflammatory meds such as ibuprofen as needed. Keep the area stretch and mobile, but don't put any stress on the shoulder.
Also you can see a chiropractor which can help the process along.
