Picked up a pretty uncommon game:


Mega Man Legends 2 Playstation 1


The legend series is Mega Man's brief stint in the 3D world.
It has a little more depth and story development than the side scrollers
These games are hard to come by and fetch a pretty good price.

I traded in Super Mario World and paid $20 on top of it for this copy at my local game store.
It's an absolute steal!

I picked it up to flip it though.
I am having Mega Man fatigue from all these games I've picked up lately lol

Besides, I'm not too keen on 3D PS1 games..
I may regret my decision to sell it but there are tons of other good games on my backlog at the moment

NBA Street Vol. 2 and Tony Hawks Pro Skater 4 are two of my favorite childhood games, big time

Thanks! I haven’t played an NBA street game in probably around 15 years lol. But I’m a big fan of arcade sports games... they are great games to pick up and play a few minutes when i don’t have the time to progress throughout an RPG. If I find a cheap copy for GameCube I am definitely going to pick it up!

And the original Fable is a seriously underrated game. I haven’t played it in a few years but when that game was new I dumped many hours into it. I have probably played through it 5 times! It would be a lot of fun to revisit but I don’t have an Xbox setup at the moment :(

Actively trying to move Mega Man Legends 2, Simpsons’s Hit and Run, and Crash Nitro Kart. Tony hawk 4 PS1, Need for speed 3 PS1, and Rage Racer PS1.

I constantly consider moving some other stuff but I waffle about it. Seriously thinking about clearing out my PS1 collection with the exception of some tactical RPGs... I have had FF7 and FF8 sitting on my shelf for almost 2 years and still haven’t touched them. They are great games but I have already played through them as a kid and there are too many other games I have purchased that I still haven’t gotten to yet. I’m just more interested in Dreamcast and GameCube right now. But we will see. If I make an expensive purchase and want to rebound some money it will probably motivate me to clear some stuff out lol

No doubt, Fable is one of my favorite games of all time.

Biggest annoyance with that game is not being able to re-enter the arena to fight more.

Being able to fight in the arena multiple times would've made that game PERFECT

Nothing crazy here, mostly sports games.
But it was listed all together for $50!
It's tough to find cheap Dreamcast games, less than $5 each is an easy purchase.

Especially happy to get a copy of Crazy Taxi.
Crazy Taxi 2 was the first game I had on the system and I play it a ton!
Never had the original though.

Toy Commander is kind of a sneaky cool game.
It's a series of minigames like racing or plane dog fights..
Even though it is a children's game it is really kind of fun to play! hah.

The boxed VMU is kind of neat too... I am not interested in collected hardware though so it will go on the resell list.


On a related note, my Dreamcast library has exploded in the last year! I now have 48 games or almost 20% of the entire game library!
It has definitely been my favorite system to buy games for :)

Couple small Pickups this week:


NFL Street Vol 3


I enjoy arcade sports games quite a bit, but never played the NFL street series.
I guess I was too busy playing blitz that I didn't need to get my football game fill elsewhere.
Outside of nintendo, It seems like major publishers have stopped making quirky arcade style sports games..

I kind of understand why the NFL is more hesitant to license their likeness to an over the top violent rendition of their sport lol
It would be cool to see these series come back though.


Got it at half priced books for $2.



MarioKart Wii


Unpopular opinion, I think this is the best version of Mariokart.
I am probably just blinded by nostalgia though.
I have definitely sunk more time into this game than any other in the series.. and more than most games in general.

Got it at Goodwill for $3.
I'll pick up a complete copy at that price any day!

Made a bad purchase this weekend...

Xbox 360 slim bundle:


I didn't really intend to go to any garage sale this weekend...
I walked past a sale in the late afternoon on my way to a friend's place.
Saw a box of 360 things for $50 and offered $30.

They sold it to me for $30 but none of it works. -_-
The 360 is red ringed, and not even the controller will power up.
I tried using air duster to blow out some dust but no luck.

Uhg, this is why I try to avoid picking up hardware at garage sales.
Especially Xbox 360s!

Thought I was getting a deal but lost $30 instead.
Sometimes that's just how it goes!

...maybe I can get $10 out of it for parts?
I'll probably just get rid of it lol
