This is exactly what the title says it is. This mock will be done just like a regular mock draft but instead of using draft prospects I will be using unrestricted free agents currently in the NFL. Anyone who has already signed will not be used obviously and restricted free agents will not be used. I was only going to do round 1 but since the Pats don't have a first rounder, instead of just pretending they did, putting them at the end of the first or taking away a bunch of Fas at the end to equal the amount of picks that would have been made, I figured I may as well just do 2 full rounds.

Lastly, cap situations and that kinda shit are not a factor in this and I will not be taking the other picks in this into account for teams. For example, since the Bears would lose Alshon Jefferey in this scenario they would likely be in desperate need of a new WR but the next best FA WR this year is Marvin Jones and I'm not going to have them reach for him in the first. We're just pretending none of these means anything at all for the teams that are “losing” players.

Pass rush >>>>> any DB, talent being equal (and it's not in this case). I would definitely take Von Miller over any other player in this draft.

I would take a lot of players over Rolando McClain.

Didn't even realize Hali was a FA. Seems like he just signed his huge deal yesterday lol. Would take him over a lot of these players, even /w his age.

Not that LB isn't a need for Oakland, but I'd have taken the option to retain Penn in the 2nd round.

Kirk cousins would go way earlier than that. Von Miller would go first then the Browns would grab cousins.

Qb is the most important position in football
