Actually the data really obviously says lockdowns do work. It's only when you actively remove complicating factors and take the widest possible view that you can torture the data enough to say it doesn't.

false, you gave a personal explanation that fitted your cognitive bias. the best you can have is a "possible" reason why that "metric" could be "inadequate". But the sum of the collected data, that shows a response to you "no" is a reasonable response.

The scientific literature is absolutely riddled with peer reviewed studies examining the data in great detail and concluding lockdowns work.

It's telling that with all of these articles being published right now you have never referenced a single one.

Kinda shows who's opposed to science.
