No, I'm dead serious. People like void are stunning examples of white fragility. "My family had to work hard! The horror!"

The horror? What exactly is my fragility?

Read the conversation. I'm arguing against a bunch of people that are pivoting with everyone of my posts why blacks are special and how there are 100 different outsides negative influences that are completely outside of their control and that's the reason. I'm countering that with my personal story and you're labeling it fragility. lol.

You can't solve systemic issues with individual solutions.

I am absolutely loving that the general masses are finally waking up to the "individual responsibility" BS that corporations have been pushing since the 70's.

We're gonna fuck you, and if you aren't succeeding it means you aren't working hard enough! Take some individual responsibility!

Literally just corporate propaganda.

Pollution? You should recycle more! Ignore that we used to have 100% reusable containers and companies switched to cheap plastic to save money. It's your fault for not recycling, even though the recycling centers just dump their stuff in waste and plastic isn't really recyclable.

You are describing a pretty typical American upbringing and trying to act like you grew up getting your ass kicked by the system lol

I'm describing a typical immigrant upbringing, in an identical environment that many blacks grew up in. I live in the same neighborhood, went to the same inner city public school and so on.

We get it though, you have different standards for different people.

None because I never got involved with gangs. Not sure if you're aware but gangs tend to target rival gangs, rival dealers, etc not typically just random people for just being there.

White trash republicans were the most impacted for the last 20-30 years. Don't worry though we're coming for the white collar jobs now that you think are safe for you and our kin. Look around your corporation, notice the amount of Chinese, Indians? In 20 years all of the privileged lefties that were cheering for open borders because they liked their cheap maids and uber drivers will be crying about why all these foreigners are taking all the doctor, engineer, it & other fairly good paying jobs.

Yep the wealth generated from being a janitor. lol. such privilage

Half the doctors at my hospital are from India and i don't care because I'm not racist. My last boss was an indian man and i loved that man and wish he never left. My partner now is a black medical doctor and his brain is a cannon. He is also a third generation psychiatrist like a few other docs i work with. Being a doctor runs in their family. Being an alcoholic runs in mine, lol. I love diversity.

Exactly. Its actually mathematical. You have more resources put into you than someone with one parent who qualified for government assistance. Me too. Its ok that we are lucky in that regard. Acknowledging some people have a harder time and get worse results doesn't diminish our lives.

Glad you reached the conclusion that I initially highlighted. It's about having two parents in the home, like I did, like most Indian and Chinese kids do as well.

If you didn't qualify for any sort of assistance, you're doing quite a bit better than people who do. Complaining about doing better than 80% of black people is an example of white fragility.

Having two parents in the home leads to having more resources to dedicate to the kids which certainly has better results.

That being said, some groups have been differentially targeted by forces which make it more difficult to make that happen, like when the adult males are disproportionately targeted for arrests, disproportionally searched illegally, disproportionally convicted on the same set of facts, and given longer sentences for the same set of facts, and denied jobs at a higher rate with the same qualification.

This is why I'm Ridin with Biden.
Once people elect him and see hes just another milquetoast guy that barely does anything to move the needle, they're easier to bring over because they feel disillusioned.
The same effect Trump had in a post McCain then Romney world on the right.
