They are very rational actors when it comes to this issue - they are importing new voters for them, even though they have to wait one generation between the illegal entry into the US and the materialization of the additional votes.

Forgot to mention there's also the birthing "tourist" industry that relies on this archaic policy. People come from all over the world like China, Russia, India, etc., just to go to certain parts of the US to plop out a baby and BAM, just like that, their child is an American citizen with rights and privileges eventually extending to the parents, all or most of which is paid for you-know-who. We're being taken advantage of and handing out citizenship like it's Halloween candy.

I love it when it's so bad for your feelings you prefers to fall in denial

what am I in denial of exactly?

your post didnt make sense as a reply to what i said.
something was probably lost in translation.

Being extremely critical of a president or supporting a candidate who didn't win and deciding to stay in the country isn't blind nationalism.

You have a reputation for blindly defending France and the french government, which I find amusing because its often trash and a joke.
Thats what my post was conveying.

I know, I know. That's why I said "... should not apply to the children of illegals or tourists". ;)

There are arguments for abolishing birthright citizenship altogether, but even if it's kept, it MUST be restricted to the children of legal immigrants with a permanent status.

As of 2015, Los Angeles is considered a center of the maternity tourism industry, which caters mostly to wealthy Asian women;[12] authorities in the city there closed 14 maternity tourism "hotels" in 2013.[13] The industry is difficult to close down since it is not illegal for a pregnant woman to travel to the U.S.[13]

On March 3, 2015, Federal agents in Los Angeles conducted a series of raids on three "multimillion-dollar birth-tourism businesses" expected to produce the "biggest federal criminal case ever against the booming 'anchor baby' industry", according to the Wall Street Journal.[13][14]

Numerous "maternity businesses" advise pregnant mothers to hide their pregnancies from officials and commit visa fraud—lying to customs agents about their true purpose in the U.S.[15] Once they give birth, several 'birth tourism' agencies aid the mothers in defrauding the U.S. hospital, taking advantage of discounts reserved for impoverished American mothers.[16][17] Some mothers will refuse to pay the bill for the medical care received during their hospital stay.[18]

On October 18, 2014, the North American Chinese language Daily World Journal reported that for several weeks the immigration authorities at LAX had been closely questioning pregnant Chinese women arriving there from China, and in many cases denying them entry to the United States and repatriating them within 12 hours, often on the same airplane on which they had flown to the United States.[19] In March 2015, federal agents conducted raids on a series of large-scale maternity tourism operations bringing thousands of mainland Chinese women intent on giving their children American citizenship.[13][14] Congressional representatives such as Phil Gingrey, who have tried to put an end to birth tourism, said these people are "gaming the system".[20] In August 2015, the issue was discussed among U.S. presidential candidates, including Donald Trump and Jeb Bush.

In January 2019, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement investigations led to the arrest of three southern California operators of "multimillion-dollar birth-tourism businesses" catering primarily to Chinese nationals.[21]

So we're nearing the end of the Great Obama Recovery of 2008 and likely about to enter a recession.

When you lose the ability to say you elected him for the economy are you just gonna double down on white identity politics and wedge issues like the wall and abortion? Or are ya going to switch to the party that manages the economy better?

The first few years of Bush 2 were pretty good too. But riding coattails only goes so far. This guy can't keep a cabinet except for sycophants.

And the trailer park has had their president. We will see how much better we are for it by the end.

Other people will be voting in this election I would guess. Trump vs Clinton didn't pack the bleachers.
