70c is fine under load with 8400 stock... but yea 8700k will run even hotter so u need new cooler

still dropping frames tho? u said u fixed it? did u ever try to change cpu encoder speed?

your cpu is throttling at 62c? i find that hard to believe, unless u have a case with no airflow

So A Hyper 212 Evo and A i7 8700k Should solve my high cpu temp and dropped framerate ?

Im hoping because it all leads to my cpu nothing goes above normal temps besides cpu.

Assuming you have adequate case flow, temps will be fine. Anything below 80 is safe and you really dont need to worry about it.
You 8400 is hot because it's at full load for sustained duration. You're dropping frames because you dont have the CPU power to keep up, not because you're throttling.
Again, dont get an 8700k because you womt be able to overclock it anyways with your current mobo. The 8700 will run it's own clock up as long as temps are good.

yep pretty much what i was trying to say.. just better explained...

dropped frames in obs could also be encoder or internet/server location..

he should check cpu encoder settings and make sure its set to x264 and encoder speed fast or very fast

True, but like I've already said, 6 threads is low for gaming and streaming simultaneously.

Ppl are able to stream and game with a lot weaker cpu like fx8320/50 or 4690k. My friend also uses 8400 and doesn't have problems and as Haj said with him streaming pubg with it. So it's definitely some sort of settings or something else causing the issue.

what's your encoder speed set to? Very fast? Fast?

Also make sure ur power settings on your computer is set to maximum performance instead of battery saving.
Also make sure to go into ur Nvidia panel and set power management to prefer maximum as well

Have you tried streaming with normal OBS instead of streamlabs?
If all else fails try nvenc?
