Posted following in other thread, sure you have read it. Damn, it may sound nice to some, sleeping around 18 hours a day is nice, but, hell no.

These are the ones that interested me more:

128str 121dex 12cs - 21% (n=8) - Hypothesis: Stat ratio equivalent / 12 CS = 10% (based on next one down)
79str 90dex 6cs - 15% (n=2) - Hypothesis: 11 point difference / 6 CS = 5%(based on next one down)
79str 91dex 0cs - 10.5% (n=4) - Hypothesis: 12 point difference / 0 CS = 10% Critical Hit Chance
119str 125dex 1cs - 10.3% (n=3) - Hypothesis: Compare top CS / % Critical Hit chance. It seems compatible.

How to balance out more damage and keeping a range of 10% Critical Hit chance. Guessing this would also
be the same with Warhammers. The low end and high end damage of this weapon having 10% Crit Hit chance
makes it more appealing.

I know Daggers have been tested, this is basically testing Critical Strike.

I like reading these test reports. the only thing i think you should add is total damage. It should be easy to show this and could help to figure out how much average damage you lose by getting more crits, if any
It seems like you are putting more points in the opposite stat in order to crit, but this will lower your normal damage output
you could easily show the average damage

Well I'd need to change my testing for that

When I test I do start from level 1 and just do 100 actions count crits, the do another 100, etc
up to level 5 and then I reroll and change stats/gear

I was actually thinking that when they posted the thread on crits with clubs. Like sure we see a way higher crit rate but the ratios are meant to give the weapon the most average damage for the range of damage. Super focused ranges should have high crits to boost dmg where as weapons with large ranges should boost the base damage because crits are unreliable.

Adding either an average damage or total damage section would help alot assuming you arent changing the weapon itself.

You dont need to chsnge anything just record average damage after 100 actions

These sound like good ideas, but you can only control so many things at once... As Meridius said, we'd have to change things a lot to test damage... for now we're only interested in crit chance in this thread. Another thread for optimizing damage dealt using some of the information we discover here could be in order though. Feel free to make such a thread and we can post in there different kinds of tests :)

Im not saying i want you to optimize or change anything....
Just list total or average damage in the tests you are doing already
. You are adjusting stats in your tests as already, just list damage comparisons
