Better than the average superhero movie but by no means amazing.
If the average superhero movie is like a 6 then this is probably a 7.5.

There was definitely a lot of effort put into making the audience think one way and then another all throughout the movie.
And it gets some credit for being unique.

But I still don't get why their abilities weren't just tested (if not by her then by their selves in order to prove it)
Pretty easy solution to the whole delusion thing.

Little things like that annoyed me a lot.

she didnt need to test it cause she knew they were legit.

she was brainwashing them since she's part of a secret society (or government organisation) that is dedicated to keeping superheroes a secret

I believe he's pointing out how obvious that made the twist, or at least how completely absurd convincing them they weren't special, while never once attempting to prove something stupidly easy to prove was.

Yes but they could have proven it to themselves.
If they started feeling doubt they could just test their strength.

splitt>>>>>unbreakable>>>glass

it was too predictable and corny at times personally. I would have liked more Samuel Jackson time and dialogue

Vouch. Another reason it was so rough, was Shyamalan's refusal to move away from actors in Glass. The kid and Jackson's mom tried so hard, but neither of them can act and it fucking kills every single scene they're involved in. I also don't get how a guy who came up with one of the best movie twists ever in The Sixth Sense, makes this fucking movie where he feels the audience needs to have everything explained to them from start to end.... Like, the fuck are you doing talking about what kind of comicbook this is, or what kind of villain/hero etc, do you have any idea how bad you're fucking this up right now by putting in all these poorly acted explanation scenes in a simple and predictable movie? Nothing needed to be explained in such a basic ass movie.
