I know nothing about the book but with that ending, is there really anywhere to go?

Very solid series for a horror anyway.

Gotta go back in time, look at the history of the house and prior families imo. Would be different actors but has potential.

The book follows a group of "ghost hunters" that go into the house after its been abandoned. So they could do that I guess. Wouldn't include any of the current cast I don't think.

But I think it's just a one off. I could see them giving Flanagan another spooky show off he had an idea though.

Ya, the ending was a bit meh, but overall it was a fucking fantastic show. I enjoyed it a lot. Wish I would have learned more about Poppy and the psychos in the family, some info into why the house was as fucked up as it was, but maybe it was just always like that. Would be fine with them being done with this or them doing a second season with an entirely new cast/story, could even use the hill house still ofc. They better not try another season with this cast though, that'd be fucking stupid.

Those are the characters I want history on. The psychos, poppy old keepers of the house. Potentially what they were doing in the prohibition period could be mixed in. Something in the past not present or future.

The stories I posted have some information on that.

Decided to check this out. So fucking good. Love everything about it from the characters to the flashbacks. Watching the last episode today

Not that I know of. I've disliked the horror genre for as long as I can remember, but this show was fantastic. The ending made me feel a bit unsatisfied, but it was a solid 8-8.5/10 show
