It starts fairly slow, but if you were paying close attention and you have no desire to keep watching after the first episode, it's probably just not for you. It gets a lot better as it goes on and you may want to give it 2-3 episodes before officially dropping, but there's nothing wrong with disliking a show that's popular.

So I finally watched this & though & thought it was pretty over rated.

It was intriguing enough to keep watching, however it wasn’t anything overly special.

How did spirits of certain people in the house like the daughter come exist outside of the house but the rest of the spirits never left? I’d imagine the wife would have left the house as well if able
