I mean, it could be that static electricity on us could do something, but i doubt it since the charge would be uniformly distributed in our blood since its full of deliciously conductive water and electrolytes.

Indeed, the effects would be body-wide. The theory behind the stuff is that the body rids itself of electrons over time and that neutral grounding like from the earth could provide health benefits by replacing them. I'm curious about it and there's a fair amount of real science for it..

If you aren't grounded you will build up electrons, not shed them.

Electron density manifests as pH in a solution.

Grounding could just raise the pH of your blood and have reaching physiological effects.

Go back to undergrad because thats not what determines pH at all.

The most acidic and most basic Solutions are both completely electrically neutral.

Which will always have associated counterions in solution.
