I strongly disagree, this 100% logical.

You burn in hell for ETERNITY if you don't believe that the Jesus dies on the cross to save your ass. (Remplace Jesus by any other shit for other religions)

You go to PARADISE if you decide to at least try to believe in this insanity.

Now think about it two minutes, even if the chances that this crazy set up is true, are like 0,0000000000000000001%, it still worth to try to believe in this, because you know, eternity is quite long.

100 % logical.

That one verse admits all verses are made up and inspired by god correct?

I think it's pretty clear what that verse means.

To put it simply, there is only one true God, Jesus Christ.

All others are just Satan in different forms with different names. If you use some logic, it is obvious that a "All loving, all caring God" would NOT tell his children to "Don't eat pork!" or "Don't eat cows!" or "Don't drink wine or alcohol!" ...pretty obvious this is Satan making these rules.

Lol no.

There is no god but that which we've made in our own minds.

God was created in man's image. A very murderous, hateful image.

Edit: Damn autocorrect...

Correct and incorrect.

It is logical.

But, it's much better to be true to oneself and have respect for one's intellect and existence by acknowledging that you don't actually know if there is a god, or whether any "holy" scriptures are right and to die not knowing than to fool oneself into believing fairy tales and live a life of lies "just in case".

Ok, but why that version of the story specifically? It's not like there's only one religion that claims that to be true. By that same logic, you're actually MORE likely to be going to hell because the chance you picked the right religion and will be granted paradise is way, way less than the chance one of the religions you DIDN'T pick is right and you're going to hell. Even if you believe in this wager, how the fuck do you pick any particular one out of the myriad of crazy bullshit stories to believe in?

That's not even considering the fact that you're trying to hoodwink a supposedly omniscient being, which would obviously attract his vengeance...

For me, it's the height of absurdity to think that a creator endows us with the ability to think and reason for ourselves, and then orders us to surrender them to faith.

Cognitive dissonance, and confirmation bias, that's how.

An omniscient being would have no need for "vengeance" or "anger". I mean, we're talking about a supposed "omniscient" being here... Wouldn't be logical or reasonable to know everything there is to possibly know and still get your panties in a bunch. Literally makes zero sense.

Exactly. It's all bullshit. Another method of control used by those in power over this without power. Like a carrot on a string, attached to a stick, just out of reach, every step of the way.
