More Gamecube pickups!
Donkey Konga 1 and 2
Found them at Goodwill for $3 each.
Pretty nice game to and happy they are complete.
I was half expecting to find the bongos there too but no luck.
I've never played these games but I hear they are actually pretty good.
Someday I'll grab those bongos and play them as god intended!
I was kind of surprised to see the french text on Konga 1. Is this a Canadian version?
I tried to find some information online but all screen captures I've seen of it have dual language, weird.
Sonic Adventure 2 Battle
Half priced books had a 50% off sale so I picked this up for $6.
Not a super hard to game to find, but $6 is good price, even without the manual.
I'm a big Sega fan, but I think Sonic games are just okay.
I do remember playing this game at a friends place a lot back in the day though.
I spent way too much time raising Chaos for some reason lol.
Might be fun to give it a try again?

Another pickup from Goodwill
Medal of Honor Underground for Playstation 1
The second copy I have found at goodwill.
I played some of the other MoH games back in the day.
But man, most FPS games from this era have aged poorly, and this one is no different.
Not a very valuable game, probably worth $10.
I have no plans to keep it.
Picked up for $2
A game I actually want to play:
Megaman Anniversary Collection for Gamecube
My local game store started selling DVDs and are accepting trade ins for $0.60 a movie.
I am moving soon and have been making an effort to get rid of some junk lying around my house.
I have had a box of old DVDs sitting in my closet for years and decided to trade them in.
Got this for free basically! And still have $0.80 left in store credit! lol
I am a big fan of retro game collection on this generation consoles.
It is a great way to play old games on easy to access hardware.
It's so easy to pick up an old Wii and play Gamecube games.
This Anniversary collection includes 1 through 8 and 2 games not previously released in the US. Cool!
I have played some Megaman games but not super familiar with the series.
Excited to play this one and happy to add more quality Gamecube games to my library

A couple of pickups from Half Priced Books
Radiata Stories for Playstation 2
I had never heard of this game, but it is somewhat valuable/sought after game.
Standard PS2 era JRPG.
From what I understand it was developed by the same team that made the PS2 Star Ocean games.
From game video I've seen it looks like a pretty good!
Lots of depth, great graphics for the era, etc.
I will probably resell it though!
Battle Hunter for Playstation 1
An obscure game, but one that has been on my radar.
Tactical RPGs are my favorite games and this is a bit of an unusual one.
It borrows some board game elements and most of your attacks are determined by a literal dice roll.
Pretty cool to find a copy in person.
I look forward to getting to it eventually.
It's not a short game and I have a huge backlog of games I want to play right now
Got them both for $15. Great deal!

More finds from goodwill~
Sled Storm for Playstation 1
When I find something I've never seen at goodwill I usually do a quick search on my phone to see the going price online.
A lot of Playstation 1 games are really not worth much, especially sports titles.
I was kind of surprised to see this game sells for a decent price at ~$10.
After playing this for a little bit I understand why, this game is actually really awesome!
The late 90s was booming with extreme sport videogames.
This one definitely shares a lot with those (you know it has a Rob Zombie soundtrack!)
But this game looks good, has some depth, controls well, and is just a fun racer.
It's a racing game with some basic tricks thrown in there.
There are a lot of shortcuts to find, and you upgrade your snowmobile with money earned from races.
It kind of reminds me of a mix of Hydrothunder and Waveracer.
This is the kind of game that makes buying random retrogames so fun.
Never would have purchased it independently, but really happy to get a chance to play it
Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone for Playstation 1
Not a valuable game, but one I have nostalgia for.
I remember playing this game with a friend as a very young kid.
For $2, there isn't much resale value here.
But I'm happy to play this game for a few hours to just go down memory lane.
Honestly, the game has held up pretty well for a action RPG for PS1.
Top Gun Combat Zones for Gamecube
This is a licensed game... but you know I've never even seen Top Gun lol
I couldn't tell you how faithful it is to the actual movie.
Plus I have maybe only played 15 minutes of it so far.
It's a dog fighting arcade style game.
I don't have any of those type of games in my library and have like no experience with them.
It's a novelty to me. Maybe I will have some fun with it?
I just want to boost my Gamecube library and for a good price why not?
I'm also a sucker for a complete copy of a game with all the weird inserts haha
Got all 3 games for $6
Profit: $723/$726/
-$3

A little bit of background to these next pickups..
I am moving out of my place soon and it has had a long history of people coming and going.
There is a lot of old junk in my garage and my roomates and I have been slowing going through it to sell and throw stuff out.
Found a box of old DVDs left by an old roomate and he said he didn't want them anymore.
I took them to the game store and traded them in for ~$13 store credit.
The game store also happened to have a big clear-out sale and I found some crazy deals!
Nothing too insane, but I picked up these 4 game for $3!
I'm still shocked!
2 copies of Turtules II the arcade game for NES
The old brawler turtle games are pretty fun!
I actually have a complete copy of The Hyperstone Heist for Gensis that I play from time to time.
These are very similar to Hyperstone Heist, but not as good.
I picked them up for resale.
They were $1.20 each! And great clean copies!
I think I will have no problem selling them for ~$10 each
The Lion King for Sega Genesis
Yeah, it's a loose beat to hell copy.
But it was $0.25! I couldn't pass on it..
That is cheaper than garage sale prices!
The Gensis was my first console as a kid.
This may have been the first game I have ever played, kind of funny to think about it.
Drill Dozer for GameBoy Advance
I have wanted this game for a lonngggg time.
Very collectible and hard to find.
It was very late release in the GBA lifespan and has a weird cart.
But this game is a really great action platformer, maybe the best on the system.
It has a fresh game mechanic where you use a drill to break through walls and get through the level in creative ways.
Reminds me a lot of old Metroid games to be honest.
This game goes for ~$30 online. The sticker price alone would have been a great deal!
I don't know why they were selling so cheap..I've never even seen it in person.
It's in great condition too!
Oh well. My game now! Definitely going to play through this soon
Profit:$723/$729/
-$6
I need to list some things to sell, been too busy buying games instead haha
