Interesting Question. The short answer is NONE! haha

I just finished Alien Hominid (Gamecube) with one continue
Working through Metroid Prime at the moment

Then there are a few other pick-up and play games that I am currently shuffling through:
Crazy Taxi 2 (Dreamcast)
Burnout (Gamecube)
NFL Blitz 2000 (Dreamcast)

I've also been playing Cooking Mama Cookoff (Wii) with my girlfriend sometimes too haha :)

The reality is that I don't play through as many games as I would like..
Usually if I am picking up something for $1 it is for resale, it is a pick-up and play time killer for 15 minutes, or I think I will get to it eventually.
I'm also considering a long-term goal of a complete Gamecube library.. not in a hurry but I have been picking up anything on the platform I see for ~$1

I keep a spreadsheet of all this info too, I actually looked back through to see what I purchased for a $1 or less because you made me curious:

To be honest, most of the games I pick up are $2-4 :)

I believe you misunderstood my question, when you started this list at your first post you had nothing and started buying and selling games and systems, now that you’re at $817 made / $818 spent you’re technically 1 dollar into your whole collection - I was wondering what the whole collection you have left looked like, now that you’ve spent a total of 1 dollar?

Oh Okay! I started doing this about 2 years ago and I have been considering doing a summary post at some point..
Why not now? This will be a 2 part post.

This is not my entire library, but things I've picked up and posted here make up ~90% of my collection.
Here are the games in my possession right now at -$1:

Playstation 1 and Dreamcast:
Playstation 1- 14 games
Dreamcast - 14 games, 1 demo, 1 Webrowser (still sealed).

I am a fan of PS1 but generally do not collect for the system.
Basically, I am only keeping tactical RPGs and games I played as a kid.

I have no plans to sell my Dreamcast library any time soon. :)
It is my favorite console and what motivated me to start collecting retro games!

Gamecube:
28 games

Been more interested in collecting Gamecube recently..
It seems to be at that sweet spot where you can find game cheap but they are rising in price.

I have been considering a long term goal of a complete North America Gamecube library.
I might change my mind and sell some stuff lol

Nintendo Wii:
13 games

I like Wii games, there are a lot of really weird ones out there.
I don't have the best Wii collection but I don't particularly seek it out.

Gameboy Advance and NES:
GBA-2 game
NES-1 game

I don't keep many cartridges. Cartridge games ship well and generally fetch a good price.
I really like the GBA though, there are a lot of good titles out there but I don't come across them too much.

I generally don't keep SNES games.. or find them at a good price ever.
There are a few good ones I would be willing to hang on to..
I'll find a copy of Link to the Past and Secret of Mana one day.

Consoles:
Playstation 3
Nintendo Wii

Nothing crazy

Kept a Wii because the disc reader was failing on mine.
PS3 is nice to play PS1 games on an HD TV.

Summary:
Overall, I've collected 74 games and 2 consoles for $1.
I'm happy with what I have picked up so far!
I have spent many many many hours going to thrift stores and selling items to get this collection.
To be honest, I almost enjoy the hunt as much as playing these games.
Eventually I will get tired of this hobby and sell it off.

Don't know the value of all this stuff is..
Conservatively ~$400? ($5/game +$30 for the 2 consoles?)
Some games are certainly worth a decent price and others not so much.
It's hard to say really :)

I never post the things I have in my collection before I started doing this.
As a bonus, here are some notable games from my childhood I still have:

Great work keep it up, I may get into this myself, I have a lot of stuff already but this is inspiring old school gaming is a lot of fun to me, I have a decent little nes snes collection already, have a 3DO a gamecube playstation 1 2 3 4 xbox xbox 360 xbox one and loads of games for most of them, a wii with basically every game (modded) but i never really considered going out and buying/selling, might even just sell some stuff and start collecting with the money made from that, there are lots of thrift stores and garage sales all around me all the time, looks fun.

Thanks! I've definitely had fun with it.
It's nice to have a hobby that is not a huge money sink.

There are a lot of cheap games out there.
But it is sometimes hard to find a good deal for a specific game..
It helps to have a wide net of what you will pick up, but limit yourself on what you want to keep.

I'm really jealous you have a 3DO.
I have always wanted to play one but never had the chance.

I met a guy who offerred to sell me his 3DO collection (system and ~50 games) for $400.
Maybe it was a good deal? A little rich for my blood though.
I always check the DVD and CD players at good will thinking one will show up at somepoint for cheap lol

Small pickup from Half Priced Books:

Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 2 for Gamecube
Harry Potter the Quidditch World Cup for Gamecube

I hear the Ty the Tasmania Tiger games are actually pretty good!
I am a little OCD about playing games out of order so I will probably wait to find the first one if I can..
They aren't expensive or rare for I think it will show up eventually.

Don't know anything about the Harry Potter game.
I'm not a big Harry Potter fan in general.
I do like sports games though, maybe this one is good?

It was in good condition, complete, and the right price :)

Ice Age 2 for Gamecube
Timesplitters 2 for lPlaystation 2

I'm sure Ice Age 2 is not good, but I know nothing about it so maybe I'll be surprised.
I try and get everything complete when I can, although I'm not always picky about the manual.
I thought it was neat that it still had the promo for a cheap theater ticket!
If it's cheap, complete, and a gamecube game, I'm buying it! (for now)

Timesplitters 2 is such a fun game!
Kind of the spiritual successor to the multiplayer in N64 Golden Eye.
I played this game a lot as a kid.
Wish it was the gamecube version though, I have no way to play PS2 games so it will likely be on the resale list.

Even without the manual, I think I can resell it to recoup my money on this lot.

Got the lot for $10

Picked up a mediocre lot from Goodwill and then turned it into something good:

Disney's Treasure Planet for Playstation 1

Disney and other children's games are pretty common at Goodwill.
I almost always pass on them, but the reality is that many of these games are high quality for the era.

I've never even heard of Treasure Planet but this game seemed interesting.
I really like the work they did on the CD label too.

I watched some game play online and played about ~15 minutes of it so far.
It's decent. Not amazing, but definitely playable!
Reminds of Spyro.

The graphics are also really good for a Playstation 1 game too.

At the end of the day, it is a platforming game in an era where developers didn't quite figure out 3D controls.
It's not really valuable or anything either..
I'll probably bundle this with some of my cheaper PS1 games to sell and clear out some space :)

2 Xbox 360 controllers:

I almost never pickup controllers.
I try to sell as much as I can in person, but most of my sales are done online.

Controllers usually aren't worth the turnover because they aren't worth much and shipping is usually a problem.

However, my local game store takes in Xbox 360 controllers $15 store credit.
They were $6 dollars so I decided to pick them up to swap them for a better deal :)

Got these three items for $8

Traded in the Xbox360 controllers for some better stuff:

Fata Fury Mark of the Wolves for Dreamcast

There are a lot of good deals on Dreamcast games at my local game store...

This was selling at $20.
Usually goes for closer to $50 so happy to pay that price.

I like a good arcade-style fighter from time to time.
I don't know much about this series, but I am always happy to add an uncommon game to my Dreamcast library

The rest are random bargain bin Gamecube games:

Ghost Recon for Gamecube
Ghost Recon 2 for Gamecube

Hm, I have never played these games.
I see them frequently but less often on Gamecube.

I don't play many military games..
Call of Duty 4 is probably the only one I've sunk some decent time into.

They were cheap and complete.
Kind of interesting it went from an M to T rating.
Wonder if that was a development choice?

Just buying up those Gamecube games!

Street Racing Syndicate for Gamecube
NBA Live 06 for Gamecube

Street Racing Syndicate is fun!
Definitely a rip-off the need for speed games, but it doesn't take much for me to enjoy a racing game.
That girl on the cover is hilariously early 2000's sexy lol

Oh geez, I'm buying sports games now.
Well, If I am going to actually go for a complete Gamecube library, I'll have to start getting them!

I'm very picky about price on sports titles..
It's not that sports games are bad, I actually like sports games.
It's just that The AAA sports titles are just printed at such high volume they are a dime a dozen.
This was $1 which is about the right price. I wouldn't want to spend more on it.

I am a big NBA fan though so I might pop this in out of curiousity.
It will be fun to look through team rosters from '06 lol

No money spent, all trade in value.

Picked up a couple mediocre PS1 games:

All Star Racing 2 for Playstation 1

Not gonna lie, this game sucks!
It includes 4 different styles of racing: Indy car, sport bike, truck, and kart racing.
All handle terribly, look pretty bland, and have long load times.

There are many good racing games on PS1 but this is not one of them.

Spec Ops: Airborne Commandos for Playstaion 1

Decent military game.
It has an isometric perspective which honestly made it age decently well.
FPS games from this era really suffer from bad controls and bad graphics.
This one is actually playable and kind of fun.

It has almost no music at all, feels weird to play.
But it's a decent cheap game if you are into the genre.

Sorcerer's Maze for Playstation 1

What a weird cover lol
Is that kid listening to a walkman? I think he is.

I picked this up because I couldn't tell what the hell kind of game this is.
Well, it's a breakout game.
I don't know why they called it 'Maze"

It's actually not too bad for a worthless game.
It looks pretty nice and has pretty cool sprite art.
Definitely lacks substance, but an interesting game I guess.

Paid $2 for this lot at Half Priced Books.
None of this stuff is worth anything.

I am trying to clear out some PS1 games.. I just don't play them enough.
I'm going to try to bundle some of the cheaper games together to sell them at once :)

Profit: $817/$838/-$21
