He’s a good friend, I’ll keep him. I have my specialist for my real shit.

We sort of addressed my weight, but he’s also seen a 30 lb loss since my first visit sooo you can’t really beat a dead horse

ace/arbs, beta blockers, thiazides (hctz), calcium channel blockers are all recommended first line for HTN...different comorbidities make one or the other the best first option

edit: also physicians are going to be more focused on a number - ie a BMI of <25 although if your body comp is good, your BMI can very well be >25 and be healthy. it's how they are trained, numeric based guidelines are drilled into their head, it's how they bill, if your BMI is x, i can add an overweight diagnosis to your note, etc etc.

When do you plan to start cutting? Haven't really kept up much with your program.

😂, taking me to school? Hctz is nearly always the first go to htn drug.

Not really here to talk about that, not looking for opinions, was just sharing some news. It’s being treated very appropriately.

I’m actually in the midst of starting the RP weight loss template while I’m in this training cycle, so next Monday. My current diet isn’t bad st all actually, I’m around 2800 cals/d, running 3 miles daily and lifting 5 days a week.

Nearly 3k calories a day???
If thats cutting or casual diet then i assume youre 6'8 at least

When i bulked i felt like vomitting after eating 2,200cal a day for 2months

Really impressive if thats all clean. Can i ask what youre eating?
Looking for food suggestions atm.

?? I’m maintaining around 2800, cutting I’ll be at 2400.. You can’t bulk at 2200 cals unless you’re a midget.

I'm 6 foot 1 and 210 lbs I eat 3200 for maintenance.

Im 5'9 and my ideal weight is 155 and was going for 160lb when i bulked.

Health is all relative right? And lbs/weight doesnt always relate to strength

I mean 500 ml of milk 3 bananas 1 cup frozen fruit 1 serving Greek yoghurt and 1 serving of oats in a blender plus 2 pieces of toast. I am usualy past 1000 calories before I even go to work.
