God eklund posted something about the playoffs projected spots. Has the Canucks out of it and Chicago ahead of them.. if I could post a photo I would it’s actually hilarious.

The guy is a worse analyst than just about anyone in this forum AND he isn't even part of the ol' boys club to justify him having media reach. Why am I still hearing his name?

This. He makes up wild trade rumors (ammong other things) with the very rare one ending up being somewhat true.

He is just throwing darts on a board hoping something sticks.

I don't think there is any legitimacy to this guy and would be happy if he just faded into obscurity.

Western/Pacific standings are so close with so little games remaining.

7 teams are separated by four points.

I don't think I have seen the standings this close with so few games remaining.

Canucks are in position to control their own destiny but they are going to have to come together as a team. Key injuries put the pressure on them.

If all pans out the team will return to health for the beginning of the playoffs - if it goes sideways the playoffs go out the window.

I can't help but remember those two disastrous collapses against Washington and Pittsburgh early in the season. I predicted those four points would cost us the playoffs... Hope I am wrong.

At least Nashville and Calgary lost.

Here's to hoping Buffalo can come back and win.

If Vancouver can't bring a full 60 minutes for a game of this importance I don't know what will.

Sure is looking like that.

Think of all the 40+ shot wins with him in net that have propped up the Canucks.

We just lost to a Leafs team with 3 regulars on defense injured. This was an opportunity to pounce on an injured team.

Instead we witness a poor overall effort coupled with two absolute stinker goals let in by Demko.

Sucks that Demko was thrown into the fire, but it shows he's not far enough his development to bear the load of a defensive shitshow. Markstrom himself took about 4 seasons in the NHL to become a stable goaltender.

The team can't play low-event hockey, basically. Our playing style is to run up the ice, score as many goals as possible, and when defending collapse around the net and hope the goalie holds up. Green just isn't - or can't - get the boys to grind out with boring but disciplined hockey.
