Got my creatine monohydrate supply refreshed today. AlzChem's CreaPure seems to be the good stuff. Doesn't chunk up, no weird plasticky smells or tastes compared to other brands I've tried.

I personally use Thorne creatine, its almost flavorless. Has a slight maybe lemon-lime flavor? Something like that.

Just want to start adding it to my smoothies. What do you recommend?

Are they all equally effective or is there certain brands to avoid? Thanks for the help guys

All forms of creatine are functionally equivalent, the only difference is in their solubility.

Creatine monohydrate is my tried and true.

The other form you will see is Creatine HCl (the hydrochloride salt of creatine). This form of creatine dissolves better in water so it isn't as "gritty"

Only thing you need to worry about is getting 5 grams per day. The extra mass of HCl is negligible but in *theory* if you have creatine HCl you'd take a little more than 5 grams.
