I have noticed dragon claw being highly effective in duels.
not sure if to chalk this up to increased attack speeds or perhaps some kinda block mechanics or something else with it is different.

I'm gonna be honest. Ive been rolling pub duels hard with a kicker for about three weeks now. I don't think block is stopping kicks.

IasNeeded = ROUNDUP((120*(EIAS - Skill_IAS + WSM))/(120-(EIAS - Skill_IAS + WSM))

I did some testing last night using that formula and I was getting slightly different results on paper vs in game.

My setup was:
WSM = -20 (Bone knife)
Skill_Ias = 54 (lvl 23 BOS)
EIAS = 101 (7fpa)

Plugged in the numbers I should need 35 IAS to hit 7fpa with Wizspike

35 IAS = ROUNDUP((120*(101- 54 + -20))/(120-(101- 54 + -20))

However upon testing in-game it appears I was still able to achieve 7fpa with slightly less IAS than the aforementioned formula. I tested this by lowering my BOS lvl to 53 Skill_IAS since socketable IAS comes in increments of 15 and 20 (was testing on bnet).

Plugging in the numbers:
WSM = -20 (Bone knife)
Skill_Ias = 53(lvl 23 BOS)
EIAS = 101 (7fpa)

37 IAS = ROUNDUP((120*(101- 53 + -20))/(120-(101- 53 + -20))

Based on the formula I would need an additional 37 IAS to hit 7fpa however i am still able to hit this bp with only 35 IAS (SHAEL + 15IAS jewel in helm).

I pm'd someone much smarter than I and they let me know that theres quite a few things we dont know yet so I am just posting my findings.

Did some more testing with a pally and block is working vs kicks. The thing is all of the elemental still goes through, which I use azure with cold/magic and venom, so its not super effective.

16/(1+(101/100))-1 = 6,96 aka 7 frames.
16/(1+(100/100))-1 = 7,0000, how the game does with theese i dno, excel rounds it up, what happens in the game i dno. Anyway in that case when hitting an even number like this(there is a very few) only testing helps. Ur testing seems to show that whenever hitting an even number it stays that number and dont round it up.

first i need thank you always mate, your help was excellent to learn the calcs with ias! :thumbsup:

yeah i calc'd all manually with smiter bps and on the calc provided with old bps is all matched up perfect,

but i received some feedbacks about some of the bps get a slightly margin less of ias needed too

i used same formula for ias bps
48ias needed to reach 5 fpa smite with pb+fana aura lv27

i got video of another user showing 46ias working at 5fpa smite skill

blizzard fvck up the d2r code i guess D: besides that all other calcs work smoothly 'til now =P

37 SIAS
-30 wsm
Eias: 46*120/(46+120) + 37 - -37 = 100
12 / (1+(100/100)) - 1 = 5,000000

Yet another example where u get a clean number.
So 2 example showing when u get a clean number without decimals its not rounded up.

So there is ur test deviance in both example.
You both hit clean numbers, and clean numbers dont seem to get rounded up.

So, yes its safe to say that any 101 eias breakpoint is infact 100.

But there is a few others as well. I know 1 on assa, the second highest from d2lod on either kick or trap, dont remember which lol xD

yeah i calc'd pretty much the same with eias 100, but i thought "this is impossible D:"

but you have a point, seems is safe to assume d2r accept clean numbers now?

for sure we need more tests of in-game too to know more of this type of deviance
