Reposting my question here so I don't make myself look idiotic.

How does trading work for PoE? For example if I have something to sell on PoE, do I trade the item to the person purchasing first and then they send me the fg?

There is no official rule regarding who goes first while trading.

I recommend trading safely and using a Mediator for each trade till you are more familiarized with the forums.
