I have been told by multiple ppl to come here because it's the only real way to get things I want in D 2. I like to use iio tho because it has pictures and an easy to see sort of vibe.... This place is like scribbled notes being passed around. I went to the trading place and NONE of it looked like it was in english and Everyone was using short forms for everything like I'm supposed to know what it all means. It's almost like it's in a different language. There's not pictures so I just have to sort of guess what they're trying to sell or trade.

Why am I typing this all? Apparently I have to make a post before I can see my own profile.

How do I get forum gold? Do I just message somone and give them the Items I don't want for it? Who IS this person I message to just GIVE my stuff too for forum gold.... I hate it here...It's been 5 mins.

I'm here to help you out. There's some amazing people on this site. As the internet can be frustrating and people aren't all the same, it's best to just stay patient. Trust in the process my friend.

I can imagine its a lot to take in for a first time using the site. After reading the links that thumpr has provided you, you could just roam around and see how ppl are trading, youll get the hang of it and start enjoying the things this site has to offer

Pretty much the same sentiment i had when i joined the site.
Search function is atrocious, many people are rude and aggressive and especially on ladder start it looks like people screaming into the void than a trade site.
D2jsp offers something that other places do not. A flexible currency and the ability to buy items or runes in big quantities fast and relatively safe.
Give it some time and it will prove useful for specific trades.

But my grumpy old ass likes iio and now that I understand I have to use short form lingo on everything here to communicate and there IS no actual give your items any items to this person to get forum gold I think I'll just stick with my iio Website. I like the screen shots which makes it %80 more user friendly then this website in my opinion. Thanks for being so nice and welcomming though.
