Im new to d2jsp looking to buy some things.

I have a couple of questions I could not find the answer to in the guides.

Is there any sort of required post number etc. before I can start using forum gold?

Is it generally recommended to make trade requests only on the forum for your local region?
Im in Asia but would rather match US / EU time if there is more activity in those timezones.

There are no post requirements before you can use forum gold to my knowledge, besides maybe an initial post. You can trade in different regions, but cross platform and game trading is against the rules. When trading, it is helpful to post what server you would like to trade on, or to include it in a PM when reaching out for in-game information.

Get your post count up to ~5-15 posts and you can unlock most features of the site. i.e. avatar/signature/friends list/guild etc.

Once you get your posts up I'll make you an avatar/signature if you want
