Some pics of my overnight hang last saturday. Wanted to test out the under quilt. The picture shows incorrect suspension setup, and I pulled the hammock more snugly against the tarp (raised it higher up) when it was time to sleep. You can see the thicker black shock cord hanging in the first two images from the end of the quilt, which should have been attached to the clips at the suspension. Didn't know that, but it became apparent very quickly.

Still getting used to hammocks. But every time I go out, I get more and more comfortable. We hit 70* for the first time here in CT, probably into the 40s overnight. Slept very warm, I would consider trying the out the low 30s overnight.

I am going to make a structural ridgeline out of some 7/64 amsteel and hope that makes this weekends hang even more comfortable.

If you zoom in on my bag, you can see some nice super bowl patches I sewed on there. Still have 3 more to do when I have the time :P

Good shit man. That setup does look pretty nice. Is it a pain to pack it all in or not too bad? The only downfall I see is high winds would suck I think.

I like the patches too I have them all from super bowl 1 to 48.

I can set up relatively quickly, under 10 minutes. Then add another 5 or so making adjustments to get the perfect hang. Packing down takes a little bit longer just because i don’t have a proper stuff sack for my tarp, i have to fold it perfectly or else it won’t fit. Its relatively simple. All slippery half hitch knots that pull right out.

Do you sell the patches at your store? I’m getting a larger backpack for summer, I’ll totally buy the ones you have from you if so.

Nice, I figured they had a way to make easy to setup and tear down/transport. I think I'm going to try the whole set as one first, but if it doesn't sell that way, I'll part it out and sell singles.

Finally got my order from kickstarter and had the chance to set it up. The Kammok Mantis UL. With some other gear too.

2lbs 3oz, packs down to 8"x6" roughly. Impressed with it. Haven't slept in it yet though. Planning a trip this weekend that requires a tent (elevation), but I'll put it to use later this summer.
