How is bran nk ?

During the Hodor episode, 3ER told Bran that if he uses his power to inhabit the mind of someone else (Warging) and gets killed, his consciousness can be trapped inside that body permanently.

Therefore, Bran travels back to the moment the WW were created (which we saw in a flashback) and tries to prevent it. But as he is doing it, his physical body in the present day is killed. So he's changed the past and has become the NK. His ability to alter Hodor's mind is proof of concept.

With the knowledge he has (both as Bran Stark and the 3ER) the WW army becomes much more powerful than the CotF originally intended them to be, even threatening all of Westeros.

The brilliant irony behind all this is that in S1E1, if Jaime had simply managed to KILL Bran by throwing him out the window (instead of just crippling him) than all this could have been avoided. A complete from how we originally felt in that episode (we disliked Jaime for trying to kill a kid)

God damn. This has to be a popular theory online or something, right? I had never thought of that. It could play out that way, but defeating the 3ER as the NK would be impossible, so there's no way that could be it. Still, interesting and pretty cool theory.

But the prophecy says that Azor Ahai will do it. Not explicitly, but if you read up that's obviously what it's pointing toward.

So remember when Bran first slipped up and let the NK touch him (during the vision) which caused all these problems? Well, conveniently, Jaime is missing a hand. So when the NK reaches out to grab him (expecting it to disable him) the fake hand falls right off. Baited, NK gets a valyrian steel sword right up the gut.

But Jamie gave his valyrian steel sword to Brienne?

What makes you think Jamie is Azor Ahai anyhow? Imo Jon is... I mean Azor Ahai was said to be reborn as the prince that was promised... well, Jon was born a Prince. Jamie is not true born royalty.. plus, Jon has longclaw which is a VS steel sword, one of only four (I think, not sure what happened to joffreys) that we know of.

Idk, I'm on 11th straight night of nightshift and might not be thinking properly but that makes sense to me

It doesn't matter, it's still not Jamie lol.

People are just in love with Jamie now, but the guy is still a PoS. Jon, the unwanted and discarded bastard, is going to be the hero of the story. Even with how much Martin loves killing off main people, there's no fucking way he spent that much time and effort subtly planting R+L=J clues, if he was just going to kill him off and make Jamie fucking Lannister the hero.

Idk how that is an answer to my question but anyway

I don't really understand the love for Jamie. I like him more than I did in s1 (duhh) but he's still not in my top 5 most liked characters. He has a lot of cringe scenes... like the one where he has edmure Tully hostage and explaining how he would kill everyone in westeros for cersai... cringe

Sorry it didn't. People speculate Jamie will regain the sword shortly in the books, but this hasn't happened and Brienne still has it in the show. She had it during the meeting with Cersei iirc

I don't recall Jamie having a different Valyrian sword, but maybe I'm forgetting something. It's been years and year since I've read the books and even the show is hazy now.
