That's a reasonable conclusion, but I'm not sure about it.

Before Adar showed up, Wadreg had already possessed the sword and spoke as if he knew what it was all about. Waldreg might be more than a commoner who needs specific instructions from Adar.

OK so I finished Episode 3 and mixed feelings. Wtf is that chain fighting sequence? Some cringe moments and some good moments. I don't find myself very interested in this show tbh, the 3 story lines are just lackluster and slow to get going. Just can't really get into it.

Halbrand aka King of the south lands (mordor) , aka blue wizard aka sauron pretended to be wounded. As soon as he baited Galadriel to take him to the elves got up on the horse like he barely had a scratch.

Everyone should of been dead from that much exposure of methane and toxic gases of the eruption. They didn't even take 1 point of damage. Writers gave everyone poison immunity.
Adar is the most soy Uruk in existence his special power is just to look out into the horizon and be purposefully cryptic.

They should have at least introduced the backstory of how melkor went of ungoliant who sucked the life out of the two divine trees, thatd be amazing to show onscreen.

Right now this show feels a lot like Stranger Things Season 5 I'm watching because I feel obligated to keep up with, but I'm not enjoying myself.

I am glad that there is only 1 episode left. When there is no dramatic twist to justify all the bullshit we've seen (which I'm confident will be the case, but I have to wait a week to confirm) then I will be able to lay into the show full bore for all its inadequacies. That being said, I would love there to be a surprise Sauron reveal that would reframe all the stupid dialogue in a way that makes it seem clever.
