Noticed the same about Reuters. They were my go to for a very long time. Last few years however you could really see the tick up in bias seeping in.
Even sources like the economist and wsj who traditionally were looked at as conservative seem to yield more and more to anti trump sentiment.
I think ultimately it is about the establishment, who are all part of the neocon cabal rejecting Trump.
watching ap news hacks during the democratic primaries was depressing. They put out shit that would make CNN blush nowadays
there's simply no such thing as an unbiased wire service anymore
Just look at the AP's coverage of the Myon Burrell story during the primary as their pro-Biden journalist shanked Klobuchar shamelessly. They would be willing to stir up a media storm to set a child murderer free if it meant getting Joe Biden elected president. They completely omitted all the damning evidence in the story while only printing the hiccups in the prosecution. Dozens of witnesses identify him and his own mother blows out his alibi and confirms he's the killer and his own cousin is recorded on a phone line talking about how he confessed, pfft, no need to print that when you can say "They used the word of a prison snitch" and "His confession was thrown out because despite being entirely voluntary and repeatedly mirandized, he was 17 years old. Except no previous such prohibition existed, a judge set that precedent in this case".
