Waiting for pictures of Mia tbh

Well, they changed the pool tables to 6/5 blackjack. They always had this at the nightclub tables (when the pools changed from day pool to club pool), but now they have it during the day. That’s a HUGE blow to my enjoyment at the Wynn. Part of our trip was sitting at the pool and I’d take extended breaks at the gaming table outside. They were hit soft 17, which I could tolerate to be at the pool, but 6/5 kills it for me.

Went back inside to make reservations with my host, but I also couldn’t resist grabbing some cash and stopping at a table that I knew the pit boss working.

Made 2k playing 200 per hand at blackjack table.

Up 1k total.

Did I say up 1k?

Wife took a nap before dinner so I walked over to encore high limit and played some blackjack. Between 300-500 a hand.

Up 10k.

Before dinner last night, wife and I tried some slots and burned through cash. We hate slots (unless Cleo is getting naked), so we left. Waiting for our table to get ready, we stopped at a craps table. The roller was on a hot streak, an we made another 500 (after making back what we lost on slots), betting only 50 on pass and max odds.

Dinner was at Red 8, which we chose for one of our casual meals. We really love the green beans here (not joking).

Started with some dim sum.



Berry drink with sparkling wine that was decent but a little sweet.



For main course, we shared the kung pao chicken and the string beans in garlic sauce (not pictured, we devoured these before I remembered to take a picture), plus a side of white rice because I’m fat and came here to eat.



After dinner, we went back to the room and had some of the cake they prepared for us. We had a busy weekend and were a bit tired. Normally I’d go back down and gamble for hours while my wife was asleep, but I have to wake up early and get some work done.

Ending day 1 up 10,500.

DAY 2

Woke up at about 6am to get some work done. Walked my wife to her soul cycle class then stopped at blackjack table (h17). Had 1500 in my pocket, and played 100-400 per hand, 1-2 hands. Super aggressive for what I had but not afraid to walk back upstairs to get more cash. Was down to my last $200 then had a dealer change. Dealer ran me up to $3k just in time for my wife to finish her class.

Up $12k.

We went to the Terrace Cafe (our favorite, where we will eat every morning). I had the pancakes, the detox juice, and hashbrowns, extra crispy. Forgot to take pictures.

Back in the room to get some work done. Will probably spend today at the pool again.
